Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
27 When they had brought them, they placed them before the Sanhedrin. The kohen gadol questioned them, 28 saying, “We gave you strict orders not to teach in this name—and look, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you intend to bring on us the blood of this Man!”
29 Peter and the emissaries replied, “We must obey God rather than men. 30 The God of our fathers raised up Yeshua, whom you seized and had crucified. [a] 31 This One God exalted at His right hand as Leader and Savior,[b] to give repentance to Israel and removal of sins. 32 And we are witnesses of these events—as is the Ruach ha-Kodesh, whom God has given to those who obey Him.”
14 Adonai is my strength and song,
and He has become my salvation.[a]
15 Shouts of joy and victory
are in the tents of the righteous:
“Adonai’s right hand is mighty![b]
16 Adonai’s right hand is lifted high!
Adonai’s right hand is mighty!”
17 I will not die, but live,
and proclaim what Adonai has done!
18 Adonai has chastened me hard,
but has not given me over to death.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness,
that I may enter through them and praise Adonai.
20 This is the gate of Adonai—
the righteous will enter through it.[c]
21 I give You thanks, because You have answered me
and have become my salvation.
22 The stone the builders rejected
has become the capstone.[d]
23 It is from Adonai:
it is marvelous in our eyes!
24 This is the day that Adonai has made!
Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
25 Hoshia-na! Please, Adonai, save now!
We beseech You, Adonai, prosper us!
26 Baruch haba b’Shem Adonai—
Blessed is He who comes in the Name of Adonai.[e]
We bless you from the House of Adonai.
27 Adonai is God, and He has given us light.
Join the festival with branches, up to the horns of the altar.[f]
28 You are my God, and I praise You.
You are my God—I exalt You!
29 Praise Adonai, for He is good,
for His lovingkindness endures forever.

4 John,
To Messiah’s seven communities in Asia:[a]
Grace to you and shalom from Him who is and who was and who is to come, as well as from the seven spirits who are before His throne, 5 and from Messiah Yeshua, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood 6 and made us a kingdom, kohanim to His God and Father—to Him be glory and power forever! Amen!
7 “Look, He is coming with the clouds,[b]
and every eye shall see Him,
even those who pierced Him.
And all the tribes of the earth
shall mourn because of Him.[c]
Yes, amen!”
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,”[d] says Adonai Elohim, “Who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty!”
Yeshua Appears to the Disciples
19 It was evening on that day, the first of the week. When the doors were locked where the disciples were, for fear of the Judean leaders, Yeshua came and stood in their midst! And He said to them, “Shalom aleichem!” 20 After He said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. 21 Yeshua said to them again, “Shalom aleichem! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
22 And after He said this, He breathed on them. And He said to them, “Receive the Ruach ha-Kodesh! 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, they are forgiven; but if you hold back, they are held back.”
24 One of the Twelve, Thomas called the Twin, was not with them when Yeshua came. 25 The other disciples were saying to him, “We’ve seen the Lord!”
But he replied to them, “Unless I see the nail prints in His hands, and put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand in His side, I will never believe!”
26 Eight days later the disciples were again inside, and Thomas was with them. Yeshua comes, despite the locked doors. He stood in their midst and said, “Shalom aleichem!” 27 Then He said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe!”
28 Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
29 Yeshua said to Him, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed? Blessed are the ones who have not seen and yet have believed!”
The Reason for Signs and Wonders
30 Yeshua performed many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book. 31 But these things have been written so that you may believe that Yeshua is Mashiach Ben-Elohim, and that by believing you may have life in His name.
