Version
Psalm 18:20-30

20 The Lord has (A)rewarded me according to my righteousness;
According to the (B)cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me.
21 For I have (C)kept the ways of the Lord,
And have (D)not wickedly departed from my God.
22 For all (E)His ordinances were before me,
And I did not put away His (F)statutes from me.
23 I was also [a](G)blameless with Him,
And I (H)kept myself from my iniquity.
24 Therefore the Lord has (I)recompensed me according to my righteousness,
According to the cleanness of my hands in His eyes.

25 With (J)the kind You show Yourself kind;
With the [b]blameless (K)You show Yourself blameless;
26 With the pure You show Yourself (L)pure,
And with the crooked (M)You show Yourself [c]astute.
27 For You (N)save an afflicted people,
But (O)haughty eyes You abase.
28 For You (P)light my lamp;
The Lord my God (Q)illumines my darkness.
29 For by You I can [d](R)run upon a troop;
And by my God I can (S)leap over a wall.

30 As for God, His way is [e](T)blameless;
The (U)word of the Lord is tried;
He is a (V)shield to all who take refuge in Him.

Ruth 3:8-18

It happened in the middle of the night that the man was startled and [a]bent forward; and behold, a woman was lying at his feet. He said, “Who are you?” And she answered, “I am Ruth your maid. So spread your covering over your maid, for you are a [b]close relative.” 10 Then he said, “(A)May you be blessed of the Lord, my daughter. You have shown your last kindness to be better than the first by not going after young men, whether poor or rich. 11 Now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you whatever you [c]ask, for all my people in the [d]city know that you are (B)a woman of excellence. 12 Now it is true I am a [e]close relative; however, there is a [f]relative closer than I. 13 Remain this night, and when morning comes, (C)if he will [g]redeem you, good; let him redeem you. But if he does not wish to [h]redeem you, then I will redeem you, (D)as the Lord lives. Lie down until morning.”

14 So she lay at his feet until morning and rose before one could recognize another; and he said, “(E)Let it not be known that the woman came to the threshing floor.” 15 Again he said, “Give me the cloak that is on you and hold it.” So she held it, and he measured six measures of barley and laid it on her. Then [i]she went into the city. 16 When she came to her mother-in-law, she said, “[j]How did it go, my daughter?” And she told her all that the man had done for her. 17 She said, “These six measures of barley he gave to me, for he said, ‘Do not go to your mother-in-law empty-handed.’” 18 Then she said, “Wait, my daughter, until you know how the matter [k]turns out; for the man will not rest until he has [l]settled it today.”

John 13:31-35

31 Therefore when he had gone out, Jesus *said, “Now [a]is (A)the Son of Man (B)glorified, and (C)God [b]is glorified in Him; 32 [c]if God is glorified in Him, (D)God will also glorify Him in Himself, and will glorify Him immediately. 33 (E)Little children, I am with you (F)a little while longer. (G)You will seek Me; and as I said to the Jews, now I also say to you, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.’ 34 A (H)new commandment I give to you, (I)that you love one another, (J)even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 (K)By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
