Jeremiah 31:7-14

For thus saith the Lord, Rejoice with gladness for Jacob, and shout for joy among the chief of the Gentiles: publish praise and say, O Lord, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.

[a]Behold, I will bring them from the North country, and gather them from the coasts of the world, with the blind and the lame among them, with the woman with child, and her that is delivered also: a great company shall return hither.

They shall come [b]weeping, and with mercy will I bring them again: I will lead them by the rivers of [c]water in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is [d]my firstborn.

10 ¶ Hear the word of the Lord, O ye Gentiles, and declare in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel, will gather him, and will keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.

11 For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand [e]of him, that was stronger than he.

12 Therefore they shall come, and rejoice in the height of Zion, and shall run to the bountifulness of the Lord, even for the [f]wheat and for the wine, and for the oil, and for the increase of sheep and bullocks: and their soul shall be as a watered garden, and they shall have no more sorrow.

13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the [g]dance, and the young men and the old men together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and give them joy for their sorrows.

14 And I will replenish the soul of the Priests with [h]fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the Lord.

Psalm 147:12-20

12 Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem: praise thy God, O Zion.

13 For he hath made the bars of the gates [a]strong, and hath blessed thy children within thee.

14 He setteth peace in thy borders, and satisfieth thee with the [b]flour of wheat.

15 He sendeth forth his [c]commandment upon earth, and his word runneth very [d]swiftly.

16 He giveth snow like wool, and scattereth the hoary frost like ashes.

17 He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can abide the cold thereof?

18 He sendeth his word and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow.

19 He showeth his [e]word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

20 He hath not dealt so with every nation, neither have they [f]known his judgments. Praise ye the Lord.

Ephesians 1:3-14

(A)[a]Blessed be God, [b]and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, [c]which hath blessed us, with [d]all spiritual blessing in [e]heavenly things in [f]Christ,

[g]As he hath chosen us in [h]him, before the foundation of the world, [i]that we [j]should [k]be holy, and without blame [l]before him in love:

[m]Who hath predestinated us, to be adopted through Jesus Christ [n]in himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.

[o]To the [p]praise of the glory of his grace, [q]wherewith he hath made us freely accepted in his beloved.

[r]By whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins, according to his rich grace:

[s][t]Whereby he hath been abundant toward us in [u]all wisdom and understanding,

And hath opened unto us the [v]mystery of his will [w]according to his good pleasure, which he hath purposed in him,

10 [x]That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times, he might [y]gather together in one all things, both which are in heaven, and which are in earth, even in Christ:

11 [z]In whom also we are chosen when we were predestinated according to the purpose of him, which worketh [aa]all things after the counsel of his own will,

12 That we, which [ab]first trusted in Christ, should be unto the praise of his glory:

13 [ac]In whom also ye have trusted, after that ye heard the [ad]word of truth, even the Gospel of your salvation, wherein also after that ye believed, ye were [ae]sealed with the holy [af]Spirit of promise,

14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance, for the [ag]redemption of that liberty purchased unto the praise of his glory.

John 1:1-9

The Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ, According to John

That Word begotten of God before all worlds, 2 and which was ever with the Father, 14 is made man.  6, 7 For what end John was sent from God. 15 His preaching of Christ’s office. 19, 20 The record that he bare given out unto the Priests. 40 The calling of Andrew, 42 of Peter, 43 Philip, 45 and Nathanael.

In [a]the [b]beginning [c]was [d]that Word, and that Word was [e]with God, and that [f]Word was God.

This same was in the beginning with God.

(A)[g]All [h]things were made by it, and [i]without it [j]was made nothing that was made.

[k]In it [l]was life, and that life was [m]the light of men.

[n]And that light shineth in the wilderness, and the darkness [o]comprehendeth it not.

(B)[p]There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

This same came for a witness, to bear witness of that light, that all men [q]through him might believe.

He was not [r]that light, but was sent to bear witness of that light.

[s]This was [t]that true light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

John 1:10-18

10 [a]He was in the world, and the world was (A)made by him: and the world knew him not.

11 He came [b]unto his own, and his own received him not.

12 [c]But as many as received him, to them he gave [d]prerogative to be the sons of God, even to them that believe in his Name,

13 Which are born not of blood, nor of the [e]will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 (B)[f]And that Word was made [g]flesh, and [h]dwelt among us, (and we (C)saw the [i]glory thereof, [j]as the glory of the only begotten Son of the Father) [k]full of grace and truth.

15 [l]John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I said, He that cometh [m]after me, was [n]before me: for he was better than I.

16 (D)[o]And of his fullness have all we received, and [p]grace for grace.

17 For the Law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

18 (E)[q]No man hath seen God at any time: that only begotten Son, which is in the [r]bosom of the Father, he hath [s]declared him.
