Version
Psalm 83:1-4

A Song or Psalm of Asaph.

¶ Do not keep silence, O God; do not hold thy peace, and do not be still, O God.

For, behold, thine enemies make a tumult, and those that hate thee have lifted up their head.

They have taken prudent counsel in secret against thy people and consulted against thy hidden ones.

They have said, Come and let us cut them off from being a people that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

Psalm 83:9-10

¶ Do unto them as unto the Midianites, as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison,

10 who perished at Endor; they became as dung for the earth.

Psalm 83:17-18

17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; let them be put to shame and perish

18 That they may know that thou, whose name alone is LORD, art the most high over all the earth.

Exodus 2:1-10

¶ And a man of the house of Levi went and took to wife a daughter of Levi,

who conceived and gave birth to a son, and seeing that he was beautiful, she hid him three months.

And when she could no longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes and daubed it with slime and with pitch and put the child in it, and she laid it in the reeds by the river’s brink.

And his sister stood afar off to see what would happen to him.

¶ And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river, and walking with her maidens along by the river’s side, she saw the ark among the reeds; she sent her maid to bring it.

And when she had opened it, she saw the child, and, behold, the babe wept. And having compassion on him, she said, This is one of the Hebrews’ children.

Then his sister said unto Pharaoh’s daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women that she may nurse the child for thee?

And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child’s mother.

And Pharaoh’s daughter said unto her, Take this child away and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the woman took the child and nursed it.

10 And when the child grew, she brought him unto Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses, for she said, Because I drew him out of the water.

1 Thessalonians 5:12-18

12 And we beseech you, brethren, to recognize those who labour among you and preside over you in the Lord and admonish you

13 and that you express greater charity unto them for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves.

14 We also exhort you, brethren, that you warn those that are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, support the weak, be patient with everyone.

15 See that no one renders evil for evil unto anyone, but always follow that which is good, both among yourselves and to all men.

16 ¶ Always rejoice.

17 Pray without ceasing.

18 In every thing give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
