¹¹ Teach me Your way, O LORD, and I will walk in Your truth. Knit my heart to You, so that I may fear Your Name.

¹² I will praise You, O LORD my God, with all my heart. Indeed, I will glorify Your Name forever.

¹³ For great is Your mercy toward me; and You have delivered my soul from the lowest grave.

¹⁴ O God, the proud have risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought my soul and have not set You before them.

¹⁵ But You, O LORD, are a pitying God, and merciful, slow to anger and great in kindness and truth.

¹⁶ Turn to me and have mercy upon me. Give Your strength to Your servant and save the son of Your handmaid.

¹⁷ Show a sign of goodness toward me, so that those who hate me may see it and be ashamed; because You, O LORD, have helped me and comforted me. A Psalm, or song, committed to the sons of Korah

¹⁸ “For thus says the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel: ‘As My anger and My wrath have been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so shall My wrath be poured forth upon you when you shall enter into Egypt. And you shall be a detestation and an astonishment and a curse and a reproach. And you shall see this place no more.’

¹⁹ “O, you remnant of Judah! The LORD has said concerning you: ‘Do not go into Egypt!’ Know for certain that I have admonished you this day.

⁵ Jesus sent forth these twelve and commanded them, saying, “Do not go the way of the Gentiles. And do not enter into the cities of the Samaritans.

⁶ “But rather, go to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.

⁷ “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!’

⁸ “Heal the sick. Cleanse the lepers. Raise up the dead. Cast out the demons. Freely you have received. Freely give.

⁹ “Do not keep gold or silver or money in your belts,

¹⁰ “nor a bag for the journey, nor two coats, nor shoes, nor a staff. For the worker is worthy of his food.

¹¹ “And into whatever city or town you shall come, inquire who is worthy in it, and stay there until you move on.

¹² “And when you come into a house, greet it.

¹³ “And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.

¹⁴ “And whoever shall not receive you or hear your words, shake off the dust of your feet when you depart from that house, or that city.

¹⁵ “Truly I say to you, it shall be easier for those of the land of Sodom and Gomorrah on the Day of Judgment, than for that city.

¹⁶ “Behold, I send you as sheep in the midst of the wolves. Therefore, be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.

¹⁷ “But beware of men. For they will deliver you up to the councils and will scourge you in their synagogues.

¹⁸ “And you shall be brought to the governors and kings for My sake, in witness to them and to the Gentiles.

¹⁹ “But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what you shall speak. For what you shall say will be given to you at that hour.

²⁰ “For it is not you who speak. But the Spirit of your Father speaks in you.

²¹ “And the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son. And the children shall rise against their parents and shall cause them to die.

²² “And you shall be hated by all for My Name. But the one who endures to the end, he shall be saved.

²³ “And when they persecute you in this city, flee into another. For truly I say to you, you shall not have completed all the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.
