Jubilee Bible 2000 (JUB)
Version
Psalm 93

¶ The LORD reigns; he has clothed himself with majesty; the LORD has clothed himself with strength; he has girded himself: he has established the world also, that it cannot be moved.

From this time on, thy throne shall never be moved; thou art eternal.

The rivers have lifted up, O LORD; the rivers have lifted up their voice; the rivers lift up their waves.

The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

Thy testimonies are very sure; holiness becomes thy house, O LORD, for ever.

Genesis 9:8-17

¶ And God spoke unto Noah and to his sons with him, saying,

Behold that I establish my covenant with you and with your seed after you

10 and with every living soul that is with you, of the fowl, of the animals, and of every beast of the earth with you, from all that go out of the ark to every animal of the earth,

11 that I will establish my covenant with you, that all flesh shall not be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

12 ¶ And God said, This is the sign of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living soul that is with you, for perpetual ages:

13 I set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth.

14 And it shall come to pass when I bring clouds over the earth, that the bow shall appear in the clouds;

15 and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living soul of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

16 And the bow shall be in the clouds, and I will look upon it that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living soul of all flesh that is upon the earth.

17 And God said unto Noah, This shall be the sign of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

Acts 27:39-44

39 And when it was day, they did not recognize the land, but they discovered a certain gulf with a shore, into which they decided, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.

40 And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea and loosed the rudder bands and hoisted up the mainsail to the wind and made toward shore.

41 But falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast and remained unmovable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.

42 And the soldiers’ counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out and escape.

43 But the centurion, desiring to save Paul, frustrated this counsel and commanded that those who could swim should cast themselves first into the sea and get to land;

44 and the rest, some on boards and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass that they were all saved by making it to land.
