Version
Psalm 107:1-3

107 Praise the LORD, because He is good; for His mercy endures forever.

Let those who have been redeemed by the LORD show how He has delivered them from the hand of the oppressor—

and gathered them out of the lands—from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.

Psalm 107:17-22

17 Fools, by reason of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.

18 Their soul abhors all food, and they are brought to death’s door.

19 Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble. He delivers them from their distress.

20 He sends His Word and heals them and delivers them from their graves.

21 Let them confess, before the LORD, His lovingkindness, and His wonderful works before the sons of men.

22 And let them offer sacrifices of praise and declare His works with rejoicing.

Numbers 20:22-29

22 And when the children of Israel, with all the Congregation, departed from Kadesh, they came to Mount Hor.

23 And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron on Mount Hor, near the coast of the land of Edom, saying,

24 “Aaron shall be gathered to his people. For he shall not enter into the land which I have given to the children of Israel because you disobeyed My Commandment at the Water of Meribah.

25 “Take Aaron, and Eleazar his son, and bring them up onto Mount Hor,

26 “and cause Aaron to take off his garments, and put them upon Eleazar, his son. For Aaron shall be gathered to his fathers and shall die there.”

27 “And Moses did as the LORD had commanded. And they went up onto Mount Hor, in the sight of all the Congregation.

28 And Moses took off Aaron’s clothes and put them upon Eleazar, his son. So Aaron died there, on top of the mountain. And Moses and Eleazar came down from off the mountain.

29 When all the Congregation saw that Aaron was dead, all the House of Israel wept for Aaron for thirty days.

John 3:1-13

There was now a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus - a ruler of the Jews.

This man came to Jesus by night, and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher from God; for no one could do these miracles that You do, except God were with Him.”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born who is old? Can he enter into his mother’s womb again, and be born?”

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly I say to you, unless one is born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.

“That which is born of the flesh, is flesh. And that which is born of the Spirit, is spirit.

“Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

“The wind blows where it will, and you hear the sound thereof, but cannot tell from where it comes, and where it goes. So is every man who is born of the Spirit.”

Nicodemus answered, and said to Him, “How can these things be?”

10 Jesus answered, and said to him, “Are you a teacher of Israel, and know not these things?

11 “Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak that we know, and testify that we have seen. But you do not receive our witness.

12 “If when I tell you earthly things you do not believe, how shall you believe if I tell you of Heavenly things?

13 “For no one ascends up to Heaven, except He who descended from Heaven – the Son of Man, who is in Heaven.
