Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
The Lord Gives Dominion to the King.
A Psalm of David.
110 (A)The Lord says to my Lord:
“(B)Sit at My right hand
Until I make (C)Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”
2 The Lord will stretch forth Your strong (D)scepter from Zion, saying,
“(E)Rule in the midst of Your enemies.”
3 Your (F)people [a]will volunteer freely in the day of Your [b]power;
(G)In [c]holy array, from the womb of the dawn,
[d]Your youth are to You as the (H)dew.
Job Says, “My Redeemer Lives”
23 “Oh that my words were written!
Oh that they were (A)inscribed in a book!
24 “That with an iron stylus and lead
They were engraved in the rock forever!
25 “As for me, I know that (B)my [a]Redeemer lives,
And [b]at the last He will take His stand on the [c]earth.
26 “Even after my skin [d]is destroyed,
Yet from my flesh I shall (C)see God;
27 Whom I [e]myself shall behold,
And whom my eyes will see and not another.
My [f]heart (D)faints [g]within me!
14 I am writing these things to you, hoping to come to you before long; 15 but [a]in case I am delayed, I write so that you will know how [b]one ought to conduct himself in (A)the household of God, which is the (B)church of (C)the living God, the (D)pillar and support of the truth. 16 By common confession, great is (E)the mystery of godliness:
