¹² As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our iniquities from us.

¹³ As a father hath compassion on his children, so hath the Lord compassion on them that fear him:

¹⁴ For he knoweth our frame. He remembereth that we are dust:

¹⁵ Man's days are as grass, as the flower of the field so shall he flourish.

¹⁶ For the spirit shall pass in him, and he shall not be: and he shall know his place no more.

¹⁷ But the mercy of the Lord is from eternity and unto eternity upon them that fear him: And his justice unto children's children,

¹⁸ To such as keep his covenant, And are mindful of his commandments to do them.

¹⁹ The Lord hath prepared his throne in heaven: and his kingdom shall rule over all.

²⁰ Bless the Lord, all ye his angels: you that are mighty in strength, and execute his word, hearkening to the voice of his orders.

²¹ Bless the Lord, all ye his hosts: you ministers of his that do his will.

²² Bless the Lord, all his works: in every place of his dominion, O my soul, bless thou the Lord.

8 And Eliseus spoke to the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying: Arise, and go thou and thy household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst find: for the Lord hath exiled a famine, and it shall come upon the land seven years.

² And she arose, and did according to the word of the man of God: and going with her household, she sojourned in the land of the Philistines many days.

³ And when the seven years were ended, the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines, and she went forth to speak to the king for her house, and for her lands.

⁴ And the king talked with Giezi, the servant of the man of God, saying: Tell me all the great things that Eliseus hath done.

⁵ And when he was telling the king how he had raised one dead to life, the woman appeared, whose son he had restored to life, crying to the king for her house, and her lands. And Giezi said: My lord O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Eliseus raised to life.

⁶ And the king asked the woman: and she told him. And the king appointed her an eunuch, saying: Restore her all that is hers, and all the revenues of the lands, from the day that she left the land, to this present.

³⁶ And after some days, Paul said to Barnabas: Let us return and visit our brethren in all the cities wherein we have preached the word of the Lord, to see how they do.

³⁷ And Barnabas would have taken with them John also, that was surnamed Mark;

³⁸ But Paul desired that he (as having departed from them out of Pamphylia, and not gone with them to the work) might not be received.

³⁹ And there arose a dissension, so that they departed one from another; and Barnabas indeed taking Mark, sailed to Cyprus.

⁴⁰ But Paul choosing Silas, departed, being delivered by the brethren to the grace of God.

⁴¹ And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches, commanding them to keep the precepts of the apostles and the ancients.
