Revised Common Lectionary (Semicontinuous)
41 Let Thy mercies come also unto me, O Lord, even Thy salvation according to Thy word;
42 so shall I have the answer for him that reproacheth me, for I trust in Thy word.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for I have hoped in Thy judgments.
44 So shall I keep Thy law continually, for ever and ever.
45 And I will walk in liberty, for I seek Thy precepts.
46 I will speak of Thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
47 And I will delight myself in Thy commandments which I have loved.
48 My hands also will I lift up unto Thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate on Thy statutes.
16 “This day the Lord thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments; thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart and with all thy soul.
17 Thou hast avouched the Lord this day to be thy God, and to walk in His ways, and to keep His statutes and His commandments and His judgments, and to hearken unto His voice.
18 And the Lord hath avouched thee this day to be His peculiar people, as He hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all His commandments,
19 and to make thee high above all nations which He hath made in praise and in name and in honor, and that thou mayest be a holy people unto the Lord thy God, as He hath spoken.”
27 And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, “Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.
2 And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over the Jordan unto the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster.
3 And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
4 Therefore it shall be when ye have gone over the Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, on Mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster.
5 And there shalt thou build an altar unto the Lord thy God, an altar of stones. Thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.
6 Thou shalt build the altar of the Lord thy God of whole stones, and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto the Lord thy God.
7 And thou shalt offer peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the Lord thy God.
16 And behold, one came and said unto Him, “Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?”
17 And He said unto him, “Why callest thou Me good? There is none good but One, that is, God. But if thou wilt enter into Life, keep the commandments.”
18 He said unto Him, “Which?” Jesus said, “‘Thou shalt do no murder; thou shalt not commit adultery; thou shalt not steal; thou shalt not bear false witness;
19 honor thy father and thy mother; and, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.’”
20 The young man said unto Him, “All these things have I kept from my youth up. What lack I yet?”
21 Jesus said unto him, “If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell what thou hast and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in Heaven; and come and follow Me.”
22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
