Version
Psalm 19

19 The heavens declare the Glory of God, and the firmament shows the work of His Hands.

Day unto day utters the same, and night unto night teaches knowledge.

There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.

Their line has gone forth through all the earth; and their words into the ends of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the Sun,

which comes forth as a bridegroom out of his chamber, and rejoices like a mighty man to run his race.

His going out is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit is to the ends of the same, and nothing is hidden from the heat thereof.

The Law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul. The testimony of the LORD is sure and gives wisdom to the simple.

The Statutes of the LORD are right and rejoice the heart. The Commandment of the LORD is pure and gives light to the eyes.

The fear of the LORD is clean and endures forever. The judgments of the LORD are truth. They are righteous altogether,

10 and more to be desired than gold—yea, than much fine gold—sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

11 Moreover, by them your servant is made circumspect, and in the keeping of them there is great reward.

12 Who can understand his faults? Cleanse me from secret faults.

13 Keep your servant from presumptuous sins, also. Do not let them reign over me. So, shall I be upright and made clean from much wickedness.

14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD my strength, and my redeemer. To him who excels. A Psalm of David.

Exodus 23:10-13

10 “Moreover, six years you shall sow your land, and gather its fruits.

11 “But the seventh year, you shall let it rest, and lie still, so that the poor of your people may eat. And what they leave, the wild animals shall eat. You shall do likewise with your vineyard and with your olive trees.

12 “Six days you shall do your work; and on the seventh day you shall rest, so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your maid and the stranger may be refreshed.

13 “And you shall pay attention to all things which I have said to you. And you shall make no mention of the name of other gods, nor shall it be heard from your mouth.

John 7:40-52

40 So, many of the people, when they heard this saying, said, “Truly this is the Prophet!”

41 Others said, “This is the Christ!” And some said, “But shall the Christ come out of Galilee?

42 “Does not the Scripture say that the Christ shall come from the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?

43 So there was dissension among the people because of Him.

44 And some of them would have taken Him, but no one laid hands on Him.

45 Then the officers came to the chief priests and Pharisees, and they said to them, “Why have you not brought Him?”

46 The officers answered, “No man ever spoke like this Man speaks.”

47 Then the Pharisees answered them, “Are you also deceived?!

48 “Do any of the rulers, or any of the Pharisees, believe in Him?

49 “But this people, who do not know the Law, are cursed!”

50 Nicodemus said to them (he who came to Jesus by night, and was one of them),

51 “Does our Law judge a man before it hears him, and knows what he has done?”

52 They answered, and said to him, “Aren’t you also from Galilee? Search and see that no Prophet arises out of Galilee.
