Psalm 105:1-6

The Lords Wonderful Works in Behalf of Israel.

105 (A)Give thanks to the Lord, (B)call upon His name;
(C)Make His deeds known among the peoples.
Sing to Him, (D)sing praises to Him;
[a](E)Tell of all His [b]wonders.
Boast in His holy name;
May the (F)heart of those who seek the Lord be joyful.
Seek the Lord and (G)His strength;
(H)Seek His face continually.
Remember His [c](I)wonders which He has done,
His marvels and the (J)judgments [d]spoken by His mouth,
You [e]descendants of (K)Abraham, His servant,
You sons of (L)Jacob, His (M)chosen ones!

Psalm 105:23-26

23 (A)Israel also came into Egypt;
So Jacob (B)lived in the land of Ham.
24 And He (C)made His people very fruitful,
And made them stronger than their enemies.

25 He (D)turned their heart to hate His people,
To (E)deal cunningly with His servants.
26 He (F)sent His servant Moses,
And (G)Aaron, whom He had chosen.

Psalm 105:45

45 And that they might (A)keep His statutes
And comply with His laws;
[a]Praise [b]the Lord!

Exodus 4:1-9

Moses Given Signs

Then Moses said, “What if they will not believe me or (A)listen [a]to what I say? For they may say, ‘(B)The Lord has not appeared to you.’” The Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” And he said, “(C)A staff.” Then He said, “Throw it on the ground.” So he threw it on the ground, and (D)it turned into a serpent; and Moses fled from it. But the Lord said to Moses, “Reach out with your hand and grasp it by its tail”—so he reached out with his hand and caught it, and it turned into a staff in his [b]hand— “so that (E)they may believe that (F)the Lord, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”

The Lord furthermore said to him, “Now put your hand inside the fold of your robe.” So he put his hand inside the fold, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was (G)leprous like snow. Then He said, “Put your hand inside the fold of your robe again.” So he put his hand into the fold again, and when he took it out of the fold, behold, (H)it was restored like the rest of his flesh. “So if they will not believe you nor [c]pay attention to the [d]evidence of the first [e]sign, they may believe the [f]evidence of the last [g]sign. But if they will not believe even these two [h]signs nor pay attention to what you say, then you shall take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry ground; and the water which you take from the Nile (I)will turn into blood on the dry ground.”

Matthew 8:14-17

Peter’s Mother-in-law and Many Others Healed

14 (A)When Jesus came into Peter’s [a]home, He saw his mother-in-law lying sick in bed with a fever. 15 And He touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she got up and [b]waited on Him. 16 Now when evening came, they brought to Him many (B)who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and (C)healed all who were ill. 17 This happened so that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled: “(D)He Himself took our illnesses and [c]carried away our diseases.”
