New Life Version (NLV)
Version
Psalm 119:105-112

105 Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. 106 I have promised that I will keep Your Law. And I will add strength to this promise. 107 I am in much suffering. O Lord, give me life again by Your Word. 108 Take my willing gift of thanks, O Lord, and teach me Your Law. 109 My life is always in my hand, yet I do not forget Your Law. 110 The sinful have set a trap for me, yet I have not turned from Your Law. 111 I have been given Your Law forever. It is the joy of my heart. 112 I have set my heart on obeying Your Law forever, even to the end.

Deuteronomy 32:1-10

The Song of Moses

32 “Listen, O heavens, and let me speak. Let the earth hear the words of my mouth. Let my teaching fall as the rain, and my voice like the water on the grass in the early morning, like rain upon the new grass, and rain upon the plant. For I will make known the name of the Lord. I will tell of the greatness of God! The Rock! His work is perfect. All His ways are right and fair. A God Who is faithful and without sin, right and good is He. They have acted in sin toward Him, but they are not His children, because the mark of sin is on them. They are a bad and sinful people. Is this how you pay the Lord, you foolish people who are not wise? Is He not your Father Who has bought you? He has made you and given you your place. Remember the days long ago. Think of the years of all people. Ask your father and he will show you. Ask your leaders. They will tell you. When the Most High divided up the world among the nations, he divided the children of men. He set the place where each nation was to live by the number of the sons of Israel. For the Lord’s share is His people. He chose the people of Jacob for Himself. 10 He found him in a desert land, in the empty waste of a desert. He came around him and cared for him. He kept him as He would His own eye.

Romans 15:14-21

14 I am sure you are wise in all things and full of much good. You are able to help and teach each other. 15 I have written to you with strong words about some things. I have written so you would remember. God helped me write like this. 16 I am able to write these things because God made me a missionary to the people who are not Jews. I work as a servant of Jesus Christ. I preach the Good News of God so the people who are not Jews may be as a gift to God. The Holy Spirit will set them apart so God will be pleased with them. 17 I have reason to be proud of my work for God. It is because I belong to Christ Jesus. 18 I can only speak of what Christ has done through me. I have helped the people who are not Jews to obey Him. I have done it by words and by living with them. 19 God showed them His power through me. The Holy Spirit did powerful works through me in front of them. From Jerusalem to the country of Illyricum I have preached the Good News of Christ. 20 It is my desire to preach the Good News where it has never been preached. I want to preach only where Christ is not known. 21 The Holy Writings say, “Those who have never known about Him will see. And those who have never heard about Him will understand.” (A)
