Psalm 146

146 Praise the LORD, O my soul!

I will praise the LORD during my life. As long as I have any being, I will sing to my God.

Do not put your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, for there is no help in him.

His breath departs. He returns to his earth. Then, his thoughts perish.

Blessed is he who has the God of Jacob for his help; whose hope is in the LORD his God,

Who made Heaven and Earth, the sea, and all that therein is. Who keeps his fidelity forever.

Who executes justice for the oppressed, Who gives bread to the hungry. The LORD frees the prisoners.

The LORD gives sight to the blind. The LORD raises up the crooked. The LORD loves the righteous.

The LORD keeps the strangers. He relieves the fatherless and widow; but He overthrows the way of the wicked.

10 The LORD shall reign forever! O Zion, your God endures from generation to generation. Praise the LORD!

Exodus 29:1-9

29 You shall also do this thing to them when you consecrate them to be My Priests: Take a young calf and two rams, without blemish,

“and unleavened bread, and unleavened cakes (tempered with oil), and unleavened wafers (made from fine wheat flour and anointed with oil).

“Then you shall put them in one basket, and present them in the basket with the calf and the two rams,

“and shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation and wash them with water.

“Also, you shall take the garments and put the tunic upon Aaron, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate; and you shall fasten them to him with the ingenious band of the ephod.

“Then you shall put the turban upon his head and shall put the holy crown upon the turban.

“And you shall take the anointing oil and shall pour it upon his head and anoint him.

“And you shall bring his sons and put coats upon them,

“and shall bind them with sashes, Aaron and his sons, and shall put the hats on them. And the Priest’s office shall be theirs for a perpetual Law. So you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.

Acts 22:6-21

“And so it was as I journeyed and had come near to Damascus (about noon) that suddenly a great light from Heaven shone all around me.

“So I fell to the Earth and heard a voice saying to me, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?

“Then I answered, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ And He said to me, ‘I am Jesus of Nazareth, Whom you persecute.’

“Moreover, those who were with me indeed saw a light and were afraid. But they did not hear the voice of Him who spoke to me.

10 “Then I said, ‘What shall I do, Lord’? And the Lord said to me, ‘Arise, and go into Damascus. And there you shall be told all things which are appointed for you to do.’

11 “So, after I could not see because of the Glory of that light, I was led by the hand by those who were with me and came into Damascus.

12 “And one Ananias (a godly man as pertaining to the Law, having good report of all the Jews who dwelt there)

13 “came to me and stood and said to me, ‘Brother Saul, receive your sight.’ And that same hour I looked at him.

14 “And he said, ‘The God of our Fathers has appointed you, that you should know His will, and should see the Just One, and should hear the voice of His mouth.

15 ‘For you shall be His witness to all mankind of the things which you have seen and heard.

16 ‘Now therefore why do you wait? Arise, and be baptized. And wash away your sins by calling on the Name of the Lord.’

17 “And it so happened that when I had again come to Jerusalem, and prayed in the Temple, I was in a trance.

18 “And I saw Him, saying to me, ‘Hurry. And get out of Jerusalem quickly. For they will not receive your witness concerning Me.’

19 “Then I said, ‘Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat those who believed in You in every Synagogue.

20 ‘And when the blood of Your martyr, Stephen, was shed, I also stood by and consented to his death, and guarded the clothes of those who killed him.’

21 “Then He said to me, “Go. For I will send you far from here, to the Gentiles.’”
