Genesis 6:9-22

¶ These are the [a]generations of Noah: Noah was a just and upright man in his time: and Noah walked with God.

10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth.

11 The earth also was corrupt before God: for the earth was filled with [b]cruelty.

12 Then God looked upon the earth, and behold, it was corrupt: for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

13 And God said unto Noah, [c]An end of all flesh is come before me: for the earth is filled with [d]cruelty [e]through them: and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

14 ¶ Make thee an Ark of [f]pine trees: thou shalt make [g]cabins in the Ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

15 And [h]thus shalt thou make it: the length of the Ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

16 A window shalt thou make in the Ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above, and the door of the Ark shalt thou set in the side thereof: thou shalt make it with the [i]low, second, and third room.

17 And I, behold, I will bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life under heaven: all that is in the earth shall perish.

18 But with thee will I [j]establish my covenant, and thou shalt go into the Ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee.

19 And of every living thing of all flesh two of every sort shalt thou cause to come into the Ark, to keep them alive with thee: they shall be male and female.

20 Of the fowls, after their kind, and of the cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, that thou mayest keep them alive.

21 And take thou with thee of all meat that is eaten: and thou shalt gather it to thee, that it may be meat for thee and for them.

22 (A)Noah therefore did according unto all that God commanded him: even [k]so did he.

Genesis 7:24

24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

Genesis 8:14-19

14 And in the second month, in the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dry.

15 ¶ Then God spake to Noah, saying,

16 [a]Go forth of the Ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee.

17 Bring forth with thee every beast that is with thee, of all flesh, both fowl and cattle, and everything that creepeth and moveth upon the earth, that they may breed abundantly in the earth, (A)and bring forth fruit and increase upon the earth.

18 So Noah came forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him.

19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, all that moveth upon the earth, after their kinds, went out of the Ark.

Psalm 46

46 1 A song of triumph or thanksgiving for the deliverance of Jerusalem, after Sennacherib with his army was driven away, or some other like sudden and marvelous deliverance by the mighty hand of God. 8 Whereby the Prophet commending this great benefit, doth exhort the faithful to give themselves wholly into the hand of God, doubting nothing but that under his protection they shall be safe against all the assaults of their enemies, because this is his delight to assuage the rage of the wicked, when they are most busy against the just.

To him that excelleth upon [a]Alamoth, a song committed to the sons of Korah.

God is our [b]hope and strength, and help in [c]troubles, ready to be found.

Therefore will not we [d]fear, though the earth be moved, and though the mountains fall into the midst of the sea,

Though the waters thereof [e]rage and be troubled, and the mountains shake at the surges of the same. Selah.

Yet there is a [f]River, whose stream shall make glad the City of God: even the Sanctuary of the Tabernacles of the most High.

God is in the midst of it: therefore shall it not be moved: God shall help it [g]very early.

When the nations raged, and the kingdoms were moved, God [h]thundered, and the earth melted.

The Lord of hosts is [i]with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Come and behold the works of the Lord, [j]what desolations he hath made in the earth.

He maketh wars to cease unto the ends of the world, he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear, and burneth the chariots with fire.

10 Be [k]still and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the heathen, and I will be exalted in the earth.

11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Romans 1:16-17

16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: [a]for it is the [b]power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first, and also to the [c]Grecian.

17 [d]For by it the righteousness of God is revealed from [e]faith to faith: [f]as it is written, (A)The just shall live by faith.

Romans 3:22-28

22 [a]To wit, the righteousness of God by the faith of [b]Jesus Christ, unto all, and upon all that believe.

23 For there is no difference: for all have sinned, and are deprived of the [c]glory of God,

24 [d]And are justified [e]freely by his grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

25 [f]Whom God hath set forth to be a reconciliation through faith in his [g]blood to declare his righteousness, by the forgiveness of the sins that [h]are passed,

26 Through the [i]patience of God, to show at [j]this time his righteousness, that he might be [k]just, and a [l]justifier of him which is of the [m]faith of Jesus.

27 [n]Where is then the rejoicing? It is excluded. By what [o]Law? of works? Nay: but by the Law of faith.

28 Therefore we conclude, that a man is justified by faith, without the works of the Law.

Romans 3:29-31

29 [a]God, is he the God of the [b]Jews only, and not of the Gentiles also? Yes, even of the Gentiles also.

30 For it is one God, who shall justify [c]circumcision of faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

31 [d]Do we then make the Law of [e]none effect through faith? God forbid: yea, we [f]establish the Law.

Matthew 7:21-29

21 [a]Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, (A)but he that doeth my Father’s will which is in heaven.

22 (B)Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not by thy [b]Name prophesied, and by thy name cast out devils? and by thy name done many [c]great works?

23 And then will I profess to them, (C)[d]I never knew you, (D)depart from me [e]ye that work iniquity.

24 [f]Whosoever then heareth of me these words, (E)and doeth the same, I will liken him to a wise man, which hath builded his house on a rock:

25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell not: for it was grounded on a rock,

26 But whosoever heareth these my words, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which hath builded his house upon the sand:

27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell, and the fall thereof was great.

28 (F)And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these words, the people were astonished at his doctrine.

29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the Scribes.
