馬可福音 9:9-13
9 他們下山的時候，耶穌吩咐他們，在人子從死人中復活之前，不要把所看到的告訴任何人。 10 他們牢記這話，互相談論「從死人中復活」是什麼意思。
11 他們問耶穌，說：「經文士們為什麼說以利亞必須先來呢？」
12 耶穌告訴他們：「以利亞確實要先來恢復萬事。至於人子，經上怎麼還記載說，他必然受很多苦害，並且被人拒絕呢？ 13 不過我告訴你們：其實以利亞已經來了，人們卻任意對待他，正如經上指著他所寫的。」
