馬 可 福 音 11:27-33
犹太人首领怀疑耶稣的权威
27 耶稣和门徒们又来到了耶路撒冷。当耶稣在大殿院里行走时，祭司长、律法师和年长的犹太首领走过来 28 对他说∶“你凭什么权力做这些事情呢？谁给了你这种权力的呢？”
29 耶稣说；“我问你们一个问题，如果你们回答了我，我就告诉你们我凭什么权力做这些事情。 30 告诉我，约翰所施的洗礼 [a]是来自天上还是来自人间呢？”
31 他们彼此议论说∶“如果咱们说‘来自天上，’他就会说‘那么你们为什么不相信他呢？’ 32 但是，如果咱们说‘来自人间，’那么众人会愤怒的。”（这些人都害怕大众，因为人们都相信约翰是先知。）
33 于是他们回答说∶“我们不知道。”
这时耶稣对他们说∶“那我也不会告诉你们我凭什么权力做这些事。”
