约翰福音 21:19-24
19 耶稣说这话，是指彼得将会以怎样的死来荣耀神。说了这话，耶稣对他说：“你跟从我！”
论耶稣所爱的那门徒
20 彼得转过身来，看见耶稣所爱的那门徒跟着走。他就是晚餐时贴近耶稣[a]，问“主啊，出卖你的是谁”的那个门徒。 21 彼得看见他，就问耶稣：“主啊，那么，这个人会怎么样呢？”
22 耶稣说：“就算我愿意他一直留到我来的时候，这与你有什么关系？你跟从我！”
23 于是在弟兄中传出了这样一种说法：“那门徒不会死。”其实耶稣并没有说他不会死，而是说：“就算我愿意他一直留到我来的时候，这与你有什么关系？”
后记
24 正是这个门徒，为这些事做见证，并记下了这些事，而且我们知道他的见证是真实的。
