彼得前書 5:1-5

對長老的勸勉

5 所以，我這同做長老的、做基督苦難見證人的、也在那將要顯現的榮耀中有份的，我懇求你們中間的長老們： 2 你們應當牧養你們中間神的羊群，要按神的意思[a][b]照顧他們[c][d]，不是出於勉強，而是出於甘心；也不是出於貪財，而是出於樂意； 3 也不要壓制所分配給你們的那些人，而要做羊群的榜樣。 4 這樣，在大牧者顯現的時候，你們將領受那永不衰殘的榮耀冠冕。

5 同樣，你們年輕的，當服從年長的。每個人當彼此[e]以謙卑束腰，因為

「神抵擋驕傲的人，
賜恩典給謙卑的人。」[f]
