哥林多後書 9:1-5

捐助的動機

9 關於服事[a]聖徒的事，其實我不必給你們寫什麼， 2 因為我知道你們的樂意之心。為此，我向馬其頓人誇耀你們，說：「亞該亞人從去年就已經準備好了。」你們的熱心激勵了他們中的大多數人。 3 不過我派這些弟兄去，是為了我們在這方面對你們的誇耀不至於落空，好讓你們能照著我所說的準備好； 4 免得萬一有些馬其頓人和我一起來，發現你們並沒有預備好，我們就會因著對你們的確信而蒙羞，更不用說你們了。 5 所以，我認為必須鼓勵這些弟兄先到你們那裡去，把你們已經許諾的惠贈[b]提前安排好，這樣就表明你們所預備好的就是惠贈[c]，而不是被強取的。
