New English Translation (NET)
Version
Psalm 145:8-9

The Lord is merciful and compassionate;
he is patient[a] and demonstrates great loyal love.[b]
The Lord is good to all,
and has compassion on all he has made.[c]

Psalm 145:14-21

14 [a] The Lord supports all who fall,
and lifts up all who are bent over.[b]
15 Everything looks to you in anticipation,[c]
and you provide them with food on a regular basis.[d]
16 You open your hand,
and fill every living thing with the food it desires.[e]
17 The Lord is just in all his actions,[f]
and exhibits love in all he does.[g]
18 The Lord is near all who cry out to him,
all who cry out to him sincerely.[h]
19 He satisfies the desire[i] of his loyal followers;[j]
he hears their cry for help and delivers them.
20 The Lord protects all those who love him,
but he destroys all the wicked.
21 My mouth will praise the Lord.[k]
Let all who live[l] praise his holy name forever.

Proverbs 10:1-5

The First Collection of Solomonic Proverbs[a]

10 The proverbs of Solomon:
A wise child[b] makes a father rejoice,[c]

but a foolish child[d] is a grief to his mother.[e]
Treasures gained by wickedness[f] do not profit,
but righteousness[g] delivers from death.[h]
The Lord satisfies[i] the appetite[j] of the righteous,
but he thwarts[k] the craving[l] of the wicked.
The one who is lazy[m] becomes poor,[n]
but the one who works diligently[o] becomes wealthy.[p]
The one who gathers crops[q] in the summer is a wise[r] son,
but the one who sleeps[s] during harvest is a shameful son.[t]

Philippians 4:10-15

Appreciation for Support

10 I have great joy in the Lord because now at last you have again expressed your concern for me. (Now I know you were concerned before but had no opportunity to do anything.)[a] 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content in any circumstance. 12 I have experienced times of need and times of abundance. In any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of contentment,[b] whether I go satisfied or hungry, have plenty or nothing. 13 I am able to do all things[c] through the one[d] who strengthens me. 14 Nevertheless, you did well to share with me in my trouble.

15 And as you Philippians know, at the beginning of my gospel ministry, when I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in this matter of giving and receiving except you alone.
