路加福音 9:43-48
43 大家都對神的威榮驚嘆不已。
再次預言受難
正當大家對耶穌所做的一切感到驚奇的時候，耶穌對他的門徒們說： 44 「你們要把這話存在耳中：人子將要被交在[a]人的手中。」
45 可是他們不明白這話，因為這話的意思對他們是隱藏的，使他們不能領悟。他們也不敢問耶穌這話的意思。
誰是最大的
46 門徒之間起了爭論：他們當中到底誰更大。 47 耶穌看出他們心中的意念，就領來一個小孩子，讓他站在自己身旁， 48 然後對他們說：「無論誰奉我的名接受這小孩子，就是接受我；接受我的，就是接受差派我來的那一位。要知道，在你們當中誰更小，他才為大。」
