Version
Psalm 78:23-29

23 Yet He commanded the clouds above
And (A)opened the doors of heaven;
24 He (B)rained down manna upon them to eat
And gave them [a](C)food from heaven.
25 Man did eat the bread of [b]angels;
He sent them [c]food [d](D)in abundance.
26 He (E)caused the east wind to blow in the heavens
And by His [e]power He directed the south wind.
27 When He rained [f]meat upon them like the dust,
Even (F)winged fowl like the sand of the seas,
28 Then He let them fall in the midst of [g]their camp,
Round about their dwellings.
29 So they (G)ate and were well filled,
And their desire He gave to them.

Exodus 12:43-13:2

43 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “This is the ordinance of (A)the Passover: no [a](B)foreigner is to eat of it; 44 but every man’s (C)slave purchased with money, after you have circumcised him, then he may eat of it. 45 (D)A sojourner or a hired servant shall not eat of it. 46 It is to be eaten in a single house; you are not to bring forth any of the flesh outside of the house, (E)nor are you to break any bone of it. 47 (F)All the congregation of Israel are to [b]celebrate this. 48 But (G)if a [c]stranger sojourns with you, and [d]celebrates the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near to [e]celebrate it; and he shall be like a native of the land. But no uncircumcised person may eat of it. 49 [f](H)The same law shall [g]apply to the native as to the [h]stranger who sojourns among you.”

50 Then all the sons of Israel did so; they did just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron. 51 And on that same day (I)the Lord brought the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt [i](J)by their hosts.

Consecration of the Firstborn

13 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, (K)Sanctify to Me every firstborn, the first [j]offspring of every womb among the sons of Israel, both of man and beast; it belongs to Me.”

1 Corinthians 11:27-34

27 Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be (A)guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. 28 But a man must (B)examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly. 30 For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number [a](C)sleep. 31 But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are (D)disciplined by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with (E)the world.

33 So then, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. 34 If anyone is (F)hungry, let him eat (G)at home, so that you will not come together for judgment. The remaining matters I will (H)arrange (I)when I come.
