Prayer for Israel’s Restoration

80 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel,
(B)You who lead Joseph (C)like a flock;
You who dwell between the cherubim, (D)shine forth!
2 Before (E)Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh,
Stir up Your strength,
And come and save us!
4 O Lord God of hosts,
(H)How long will You be angry
Against the prayer of Your people?
5 (I)You have fed them with the bread of tears,
And given them tears to drink in great measure.
6 You have made us a strife to our neighbors,
And our enemies laugh among themselves.
7 Restore us, O God of hosts;
Cause Your face to shine,
And we shall be saved!
17 (A)Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand,
Upon the son of man whom You made strong for Yourself.
18 Then we will not turn back from You;
Revive us, and we will call upon Your name.
19 Restore us, O Lord God of hosts;
Cause Your face to shine,
And we shall be saved!
Idolatry Cut Off
13 “In that (A)day (B)a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for (C)uncleanness.
2 “It shall be in that day,” says the Lord of hosts, “that I will (D)cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they shall no longer be remembered. I will also cause (E)the prophets and the unclean spirit to depart from the land. 3 It shall come to pass that if anyone still prophesies, then his father and mother who begot him will say to him, ‘You shall (F)not live, because you have spoken lies in the name of the Lord.’ And his father and mother who begot him (G)shall thrust him through when he prophesies.
4 “And it shall be in that day that (H)every prophet will be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies; they will not wear (I)a robe of coarse hair to deceive. 5 (J)But he will say, ‘I am no prophet, I am a farmer; for a man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.’ 6 And one will say to him, ‘What are these wounds between your [a]arms?’ Then he will answer, ‘Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.’
The Shepherd Savior
7 “Awake, O sword, against (K)My Shepherd,
Against the Man (L)who is My Companion,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
(M)“Strike the Shepherd,
And the sheep will be scattered;
Then I will turn My hand against (N)the little ones.
8 And it shall come to pass in all the land,”
Says the Lord,
“That (O)two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die,
(P)But one-third shall be left in it:
9 I will bring the one-third (Q)through the fire,
Will (R)refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested.
(S)They will call on My name,
And I will answer them.
(T)I will say, ‘This is My people’;
And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’ ”
The Proclamations of Three Angels
6 Then I saw another angel (A)flying in the midst of heaven, (B)having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—(C)to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— 7 saying with a loud voice, (D)“Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; (E)and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”
8 And another angel followed, saying, (F)“Babylon[a] is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because (G)she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”
9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, (H)“If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his (I)mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself (J)shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is (K)poured out full strength into (L)the cup of His indignation. (M)He shall be tormented with (N)fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And (O)the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”
12 (P)Here is the [b]patience of the saints; (Q)here[c] are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying [d]to me, “Write: (R)‘Blessed are the dead (S)who die in the Lord from now on.’ ”
“Yes,” says the Spirit, (T)“that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow (U)them.”
