马太福音 17:22-27
再次预言受难
22 他们聚集在[a]加利利的时候，耶稣对门徒们说：“人子将要被交在[b]人的手中。 23 他们要杀害他，然后在第三天，他要复活。”门徒们就极其忧伤。
缴纳圣殿税
24 他们来到迦百农，那些收圣殿税[c]的人来到彼得那里，说：“你们的老师不纳圣殿税吗？”
25 彼得说：“当然纳。”
彼得进了屋子，耶稣先问他：“西门，这件事你怎么看？地上的众君王向谁征收关税和丁税呢？向自己的儿女，还是向外人呢？”
26 彼得回答说：“向外人。”
耶稣说：“因此儿女可以免了。 27 但为了不绊倒他们[d]，你到湖边[e]去投下鱼钩，拿起钓上来的第一条鱼，打开鱼的嘴，会发现一个大银币[f]。你就把它拿去，为我和你交给他们吧。”
