Psalm 119:65-72

Teth

65 You have treated Your servant well,
Lord, according to Your word.
66 Teach me good [a](A)discernment and knowledge,
For I believe in Your commandments.
67 (B)Before I was afflicted I went astray,
But now I keep Your word.
68 You are (C)good and You (D)do good;
(E)Teach me Your statutes.
69 The arrogant [b]have (F)forged a lie against me;
With all my heart I will (G)comply with Your precepts.
70 Their heart is (H)insensitive, like fat,
But I (I)delight in Your Law.
71 It is (J)good for me that I was afflicted,
So that I may learn Your statutes.
72 The (K)Law of Your mouth is better to me
Than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

Leviticus 4:27-31

27 ‘Now if [a]anyone of the [b]common people sins (A)unintentionally by doing any of the [c]things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, and becomes guilty, 28 [d](B)if his sin which he has [e]committed is made known to him, then he shall bring as his offering a [f](C)goat, a (D)female without defect, for his sin which he has [g]committed. 29 And (E)he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin offering and (F)slaughter the sin offering at the place of the burnt offering. 30 The priest shall then take some of its blood with his finger and put it on the horns of (G)the altar of burnt offering; and (H)all the rest of its blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar. 31 (I)Then he shall remove all its fat, just as the fat was removed from the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall offer it up in smoke on the altar as (J)a soothing aroma to the Lord. So the priest shall make atonement for him, [h]and he will be forgiven.

Leviticus 5:14-16

14 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 15 (A)If a person acts unfaithfully and sins (B)unintentionally against the Lords holy things, then he shall bring his (C)guilt offering to the Lord: (D)a ram without defect from the flock, according to your assessment in silver by shekels, in terms of the (E)shekel of the sanctuary, as a guilt offering. 16 And (F)he shall make restitution for that which he has sinned against the holy thing, and shall add to it a fifth part of it and give it to the priest. (G)The priest shall then make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering, and it will be forgiven him.

1 Peter 2:11-17

11 (A)Beloved, (B)I urge you as (C)foreigners and strangers to abstain from (D)fleshly lusts, which wage (E)war against the soul. 12 (F)Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they (G)slander you as evildoers, they may [a]because of your good deeds, as they observe them, (H)glorify God (I)on the day of [b]visitation.

Honor Authority

13 (J)Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, 14 or to governors as sent [c]by him (K)for the punishment of evildoers and the (L)praise of those who do right. 15 For [d](M)such is the will of God, that by doing right you (N)silence the ignorance of foolish people. 16 Act as (O)free people, and [e]do not use your freedom as a [f]covering for evil, but use it as (P)bond-servants of God. 17 (Q)Honor all people, (R)love the brotherhood, (S)fear God, (T)honor the [g]king.
