⁵ Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens,
    your faithfulness to the clouds.
^6 (A)Your righteousness is like the mountains of God;
    ^(B)your judgments are like the great deep;
    man and beast you ^(C)save, O Lord.

^7 (D)How precious is your steadfast love, O God!
    The children of mankind take refuge ^(E)in the shadow of your wings.
⁸ They feast on ^(F)the abundance of your house,
    and you give them drink from ^(G)the river of ^(H)your delights.
⁹ For with you is ^(I)the fountain of life;
    ^(J)in your light do we see light.

¹⁰ Oh, continue your steadfast love to those who ^(K)know you,
    and your righteousness to ^(L)the upright of heart!

4 “If you return, O Israel,
declares the Lord,
    ^(A)to me you should return.
If you remove your detestable things from my presence,
    ^(B)and do not waver,
^2 (C)and if you swear, ‘As the Lord lives,’
    in truth, in justice, and in righteousness,
then ^(D)nations shall bless themselves in him,
    ^(E)and in him shall they glory.”

^(F)“Break up your fallow ground,
    and ^(G)sow not among thorns.
^4 (H)Circumcise yourselves to the Lord;
    remove the foreskin of your hearts,
    O men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem;
^(I)lest my wrath go forth like fire,
    and burn with none to quench it,
    ^(J)because of the evil of your deeds.”
