Lexham English Bible (LEB)
Version
Psalm 104:24-34

24 How many are your works, O Yahweh;
all of them you have done in wisdom.
The earth is full of your creatures.
25 This is the great and wide[a] sea,
in which are moving animals without number,
living things small and great.
26 There the ships sail.
Leviathan is there that you formed to play with.[b]
27 They all wait for you
to give them their food at the proper time.[c]
28 You give to them; they gather it.
You open your hand, they are filled with what is good.
29 You hide your face, they are terrified.
You take away their breath, they die
and return to their dust.
30 You send forth your Spirit,[d] they are created,
and you renew the face of the ground.
31 May the glory of Yahweh endure forever.
May Yahweh be glad in his works,
32 the one who looks at the earth and it quakes,
and touches the mountains and they smoke.
33 I will sing to Yahweh throughout my life;
I will sing praise to my God while I remain alive.[e]
34 May my meditation be pleasing to him.
I will be glad in Yahweh.

Psalm 104:35

35 Let sinners perish completely from the earth,
and the wicked not remain alive.[a]
Bless Yahweh, O my soul.
Praise Yah.[b]

Joel 2:18-29

The Response and Promise of Yahweh

18 Then Yahweh became jealous for his land
    and took pity on his people.
19 And Yahweh answered and said to his people,
    “Look at me, I am sending to you
grain, new wine, and olive oil,
    and you will be satisfied by it.
I will not give you over any more
    as a disgrace among the nations.
20 The northerners[a]
    I will remove from you;
I will drive them to a desert
    and desolate land,
its[b] front to the eastern sea,
    and its rear into the western sea;
its stench and odor will rise up
    because he[c] has done great things.
21 Do not fear, O land,
    rejoice and be glad,
        because Yahweh has done great things.
22 Do not fear, wild animals of the field,
    because the pastures of the desert have put forth new green shoots,
because the tree has produced its fruit,
    the fig tree and the vine
        have yielded their produce.
23 Be glad, O children of Zion,
    be glad and rejoice in Yahweh your God,
because he has given for you
    the autumn rains for your righteousness,[d]
        and he has poured down[e] for you rainwater,
the autumn and spring rains, as before.
24 The threshing floors will be full with grain,
    and the vats will overflow
        with new wine and olive oil.
25 I will repay you the years
    that the locust has eaten,
the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter,
    my mighty troops that I sent against you.
26 And you will eat abundantly and be satisfied,
    and praise the name of Yahweh your God,
    who has dealt with you wondrously.[f]
My people will never be ashamed.[g]
27 And you will know that I am in the midst of Israel,
and I am Yahweh,
    your God, and there is no other.
My people will never be ashamed again.[h]

Yahweh’s Spirit Poured Out

28 [i] And it will happen afterward thus:
    I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh,
and your sons and your daughters will prophesy,
    and your elders will dream dreams;
your young men shall see visions.
29 And also on the male slaves and on the female slaves,
    I will pour out my Spirit in those days.

1 Corinthians 12:4-11

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit, and there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord, and there are varieties of activities, but the same God, who works all things in all people. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for what is beneficial to all. For to one is given a word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another a word of knowledge by the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another[a] gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another[b] miraculous powers[c], to another[d] prophecy, to another[e] distinguishing of spirits, to another kinds of tongues, to another[f] interpretation of tongues. 11 But in all these things one and the same Spirit is at work, distributing to each one individually just as he wishes.
