Psalm 67

All Will Praise God

For the choir director: with stringed instruments. A psalm. A song.

May God be gracious to us and bless us;
look on us with favor(A)Selah
so that Your way may be known on earth,
Your salvation among all nations.(B)

Let the peoples praise You, God;
let all the peoples praise You.(C)
Let the nations rejoice and shout for joy,
for You judge the peoples with fairness
and lead the nations on earth.(D)Selah
Let the peoples praise You, God,
let all the peoples praise You.(E)

The earth has produced its harvest;
God, our God, blesses us.(F)
God will bless us,
and all the ends of the earth will fear Him.(G)

Isaiah 63:15-19

Israel’s Prayer

15 Look down from heaven and see(A)
from Your lofty home—holy and beautiful.
Where is Your zeal and Your might?
Your yearning[a] and Your compassion
are withheld from me.
16 Yet You are our Father,
even though Abraham does not know us
and Israel doesn’t recognize us.
You, Yahweh, are our Father;
from ancient times,
Your name is our Redeemer.(B)
17 Why, Yahweh, do You make us stray from Your ways?
You harden our hearts so we do not fear[b] You.(C)
Return, because of Your servants,
the tribes of Your heritage.
18 Your holy people had a possession[c]
for a little while,
but our enemies have trampled down
Your sanctuary.(D)
19 We have become like those You never ruled over,
like those not called by Your name.(E)

Acts 14:19-28

19 Then some Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and when they had won over the crowds and stoned Paul, they dragged him out of the city, thinking he was dead.(A) 20 After the disciples surrounded him, he got up and went into the town. The next day he left with Barnabas for Derbe.(B)

Church Planting

21 After they had evangelized that town and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, to Iconium, and to Antioch,(C) 22 strengthening the[a] disciples by encouraging them to continue in the faith(D) and by telling them, “It is necessary to pass through many troubles(E) on our way into the kingdom of God.”

23 When they had appointed elders(F) in every church and prayed with fasting, they committed them to the Lord in whom they had believed. 24 Then they passed through Pisidia and came to Pamphylia. 25 After they spoke the message in Perga, they went down to Attalia. 26 From there they sailed back to Antioch where they had been entrusted to the grace of God for the work they had now completed.(G) 27 After they arrived and gathered the church together, they reported everything God had done with them(H) and that He had opened the door(I) of faith to the Gentiles. 28 And they spent a considerable time[b] with the disciples.
