馬太福音 16:5-12

5 門徒們到了對岸，忘了帶餅。

6 耶穌對他們說：「你們要注意，要提防法利賽人和撒都該人的酵母。」

7 門徒們就彼此討論說：「這是因為我們沒有帶餅吧。」

8 耶穌知道了，就說：「小信的人哪，你們為什麼彼此討論沒有帶[a]餅的事呢？ 9 你們還不明白嗎？難道不記得那五個餅給五千人，你們收拾了幾個籃子的碎塊[b]嗎？ 10 也不記得那七個餅給四千人，你們收拾了幾個筐子的碎塊[c]嗎？ 11 你們怎麼不明白，我對你們說的不是餅的事，而是要你們提防法利賽人和撒都該人的酵母呢？」 12 門徒們這才領悟耶穌所說的不是要他們提防餅的酵母，而是要他們提防法利賽人和撒都該人的教導。
