Version
Psalm 52

52 Unto the end, for Maeleth, understandings to David. The fool said in his heart: There is no God.

They are corrupted, and become abominable in iniquities: there is none that doth good.

God looked down from heaven on the children of men: to see if there were any that did understand, or did seek God.

All have gone aside, they are become unprofitable together, there is none that doth good, no not one.

Shall not all the workers of iniquity know, who eat up my people as they eat bread?

They have not called upon God: there have they trembled for fear, where there was no fear. For God hath scattered the bones of them that please men: they have been confounded, because God hath despised them.

Who will give out of Sion the salvation of Israel? when God shall bring back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

Joshua 8:30-35

30 Then Josue built an altar to the Lord the God of Israel in mount Hebal,

31 As Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded the children of Israel, and it is written in the book of the law of Moses: an altar of unhewn stones which iron had not touched: and he offered upon it holocausts to the Lord, and immolated victims of peace offerings.

32 And he wrote upon stones the Deuteronomy of the law of Moses, which he had ordered before the children of Israel.

33 And all the people, and the ancients, and the princes and judges stood on both sides of the ark, before the priests that carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, both the stranger and he that was born among them, half of them by mount Garizim, and half by mount Hebal, as Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded. And first he blessed the people of Israel.

34 After this he read all the words of the blessing and the cursing and all things that were written in the hook of the law.

35 He left out nothing of those things which Moses had commanded, but he repeated all before all the people of Israel, with the women and children and strangers that dwelt among them.

Romans 2:1-11

Wherefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest. For wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself. For thou dost the same things which thou judgest.

For we know that the judgment of God is, according to truth, against them that do such things.

And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them who do such things, and dost the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness, and patience, and longsuffering? Knowest thou not, that the benignity of God leadeth thee to penance?

But according to thy hardness and impenitent heart, thou treasurest up to thyself wrath, against the day of wrath, and revelation of the just judgment of God.

Who will render to every man according to his works.

To them indeed, who according to patience in good work, seek glory and honour and incorruption, eternal life:

But to them that are contentious, and who obey not the truth, but give credit to iniquity, wrath and indignation.

Tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that worketh evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Greek.

10 But glory, and honour, and peace to every one that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
