Version
Deuteronomy 11:18-21

18 ‘Therefore, you shall lay up these, My Words, in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, so that they may be as a frontlet between your eyes.

19 ‘And you shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.

20 ‘And you shall write them upon the posts of your house and upon your gates,

21 ‘so that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to give them, as long as the heavens are above the Earth.’

Deuteronomy 11:26-28

26 “Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse:

27 “the blessing if you obey the Commandments of the LORD your God which I command you this day,

28 “and the curse if you will not obey the Commandments of the LORD your God, but turn out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods which you have not known.

Psalm 31:1-5

31 In You, O LORD, have I put my trust. Let me never be confounded. Deliver me in Your righteousness.

Bow down Your ear to me. Make haste to deliver me. Be to me a strong rock, a house of defense to save me.

For You are my rock and my fortress. Therefore, direct me and guide me for Your Name’s sake.

Draw me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me. For You are my strength.

Into Your hand I commend My spirit. For You have redeemed me, O LORD God of Truth.

Psalm 31:19-24

19 How great is Your goodness which You have laid up for those who fear You; and done to those who trust in You before the sons of men!

20 You hide them from the pride of men in the secret place of Your presence. You keep them secretly in Your Tabernacle from the strife of tongues.

21 Blessed be the LORD. For He has shown His marvelous kindness toward me in a strong city.

22 Though I said in my haste, “I am cast out of Your sight!” Still, You heard the voice of my prayer when I cried to You.

23 Love the LORD, all His saints. The LORD preserves the faithful and abundantly repays the proud.

24 All you who trust in the LORD, be strong; and He shall establish your heart. A Psalm of David, to give instruction.

Romans 1:16-17

16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. For it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes; to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

17 For by it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. As it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

Romans 3:22-28

22 that is, the righteousness of God by the faith of Jesus Christ, unto all and upon all who believe. For there is no difference.

23 For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God;

24 and are justified freely by His grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

25 Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation, (through faith in His blood) to declare His righteousness, by the forgiveness of previous sins through God’s forbearance;

26 to show His righteousness at this present time, that He might be just, and a justifier of the one who believes in Jesus.

27 Where, then, is the boasting? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the Law of faith.

28 Therefore, we conclude that a man is justified by faith, apart from the works of the Law.

Romans 3:29-31

29 Or is He the God of the Jews only, and not also of the Gentiles? Yes, even of the Gentiles also.

30 For indeed it is one God Who shall justify circumcision of faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

31 Do we then make the Law of no effect through faith? Absolutely not! Rather, we establish the Law.

Matthew 7:21-29

21 “Not everyone that says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord’, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does My Father’s will, Who is in Heaven.

22 “Many will say to Me on that Day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your Name; and by Your Name cast out demons; and by Your Name done many great works?’

23 “And then will I proclaim to them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from Me, you who work iniquity.’

24 “Whoever then hears these words, and does the same, will be like a wise man who has built his house on a rock.

25 “And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house. And it did not fall. For it was grounded on a rock.

26 “But whoever hears these, My words, and does not do them, shall be like a foolish man, who has built his house upon the sand.

27 “And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house. And it fell. And its fall was great.”

28 And it happened that when Jesus had ended these words, the people were astonished at His doctrine.

29 For He taught them as One having authority, and not as the scribes.
