Tree of Life Version (TLV)
Version
Isaiah 55:1-5

Trees of the Field will Clap Their Hands

55 “Ho, everyone who thirsts,
    come to the water,[a]
and you who have no money,
    come, buy and eat.
Come, buy wine and milk
    without money and without cost!
Why do you spend money for what is not bread?
Your wages for what does not satisfy?
Listen diligently to Me, and eat what is good,
    and delight yourself in abundance.
Incline your ear and come to Me.
Listen, so that your soul may live.
I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
the trustworthy loyalty to David.
Behold, I made him a witness to the peoples,
a leader and commander for the peoples.
Behold, you will summon a nation you do not know,
and a nation that did not know you will run to you,
because of Adonai your God
and the Holy One of Israel,
    for He has glorified you.”

Psalm 145:8-9

Adonai is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.
Adonai is good to all.
He has compassion on all His creatures.

Psalm 145:14-21

14 Adonai upholds all who fall
and raises up all who are bowed down.
15 The eyes of all look to You
and You give them their food on time.
16 You open Your hand
and satisfy every living thing with favor.
17 Adonai is righteous in all His ways
and kind in all His deeds.
18 Adonai is near to all who call on Him,
to all who call on Him in truth.
19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him.
He will hear their cry and save them.
20 Adonai watches over all who love Him,
but all the wicked He will destroy.
21 My mouth declares the praise of Adonai.
Let all flesh bless His holy Name forever and ever!

Romans 9:1-5

The Role of Israel

I tell the truth in Messiah—I do not lie, my conscience assuring me in the Ruach ha-Kodesh that my sorrow is great and the anguish in my heart unending. For I would pray that I myself were cursed, banished from Messiah for the sake of my people—my own flesh and blood, [a] who are Israelites. To them belong the adoption[b] and the glory[c] and the covenants and the giving of the Torah[d] and the Temple service[e] and the promises. To them belong the patriarchs—and from them, according to the flesh, the Messiah, who is over all, God, blessed forever. Amen.

Matthew 14:13-21

Feeding Hungry Followers

13 Now when Yeshua heard this, He went away from there privately by boat to an isolated place. But when the crowds heard, they followed Him on foot from the towns. 14 As Yeshua came ashore, He saw a large crowd and felt compassion for them and healed their sick. 15 When it became evening, the disciples came to Him, saying, “This place is isolated, and the hour is already late. Send the crowds away so they can go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”

16 But Yeshua said to them, “They don’t need to leave—you give them something to eat.”

17 “We have nothing here except five loaves and two fish,” they said to Him.

18 “Bring them here to Me,” He said.

19 Ordering the crowd to recline on the grass, He took the five loaves and the two fish; and looking up to heaven, He offered the bracha. After breaking the loaves, He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. 20 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve baskets full of broken pieces left over. 21 Now those eating were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
