A Psalm of thanksgiving.

100 Shout aloud unto Jehovah, all the earth!

² Serve Jehovah with joy: come before his presence with exultation.

³ Know that Jehovah is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; [we are] his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

⁴ Enter into his gates with thanksgiving [and] into his courts with praise; give thanks unto him, bless his name:

⁵ For Jehovah is good; his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever; and his faithfulness from generation to generation.

²⁷ And Jehovah said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him on the mountain of God, and kissed him.

²⁸ And Moses told Aaron all the words of Jehovah who had sent him, and all the signs that he had commanded him.

²⁹ And Moses and Aaron went and gathered all the elders of the children of Israel;

³⁰ and Aaron spoke all the words that Jehovah had spoken to Moses, and did the signs before the eyes of the people.

³¹ And the people believed. And when they heard that Jehovah had visited the children of Israel, and that he had seen their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.

³⁵ This Moses, whom they refused, saying, Who made thee ruler and judge? him did God send [to be] a ruler and deliverer with the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.

³⁶ *He* led them out, having wrought wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

³⁷ This is the Moses who said to the sons of Israel, A prophet shall God raise up to you out of your brethren like me [him shall ye hear].

³⁸ This is he who was in the assembly in the wilderness, with the angel who spoke to him in the mount Sinai, and with our fathers; who received living oracles to give to us;

³⁹ to whom our fathers would not be subject, but thrust [him] from them, and in their hearts turned back to Egypt,

⁴⁰ saying to Aaron, Make us gods who shall go before us; for this Moses, who brought us out of the land of Egypt, we know not what has happened to him.

⁴¹ And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice to the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

⁴² But God turned and delivered them up to serve the host of heaven; as it is written in [the] book of the prophets, Have ye offered me victims and sacrifices forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

⁴³ Yea, ye took up the tent of Moloch, and the star of [your] god Remphan, the forms which ye made to do homage to them; and I will transport you beyond Babylon.
