Psalm 118:1-2

Yahweh’s Lovingkindness Endures Forever

118 (A)Give thanks to Yahweh, for (B)He is good;
For His lovingkindness endures forever.
Oh let (C)Israel say,
“His lovingkindness endures forever.”

Psalm 118:14-24

14 (A)Yah is my strength and song,
And He has become (B)my salvation.

15 The sound of (C)joyful shouting and salvation is in the tents of the righteous;
The (D)right hand of Yahweh does valiantly.
16 The (E)right hand of Yahweh is exalted;
The right hand of Yahweh does valiantly.
17 I (F)will not die; indeed I will live,
And (G)recount the works of Yah.
18 Yah has (H)disciplined me severely,
But He has (I)not given me over to death.

19 (J)Open to me the gates of righteousness;
I shall enter through them, I shall give thanks to Yah.
20 This is the gate of Yahweh;
The (K)righteous will enter through it.
21 I shall give thanks to You, for You have (L)answered me,
And You have (M)become my salvation.

22 The (N)stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief corner stone.
23 This is from Yahweh;
It is marvelous in our eyes.
24 This is the day which Yahweh has made;
Let us (O)rejoice and be glad in it.

Exodus 14:10-31

10 Now Pharaoh drew near, and the sons of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians were marching after them, and they became very afraid; (A)so the sons of Israel cried out to Yahweh. 11 Then (B)they said to Moses, “Is it because there were no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What is this you have done against us in [a]bringing us out of Egypt? 12 (C)Is this not the word that we spoke to you in Egypt, saying, ‘[b]Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than for us to die in the wilderness.” 13 But Moses said to the people, “(D)Do not fear! [c]Stand by and see (E)the salvation of Yahweh which He will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again forever. 14 (F)Yahweh will fight for you, and (G)you will keep silent.”

15 Then Yahweh said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to Me? Speak to the sons of Israel so that they go forward. 16 As for you, raise up (H)your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea and split it, and the sons of Israel shall [d]go through the midst of the sea on dry land. 17 As for Me, behold, (I)I will [e]harden the hearts of the Egyptians with strength so that they will go in after them; and I will be glorified through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen. 18 (J)Then the Egyptians will know that I am Yahweh, when I am glorified through Pharaoh, through his chariots and his horsemen.”

19 (K)Then the angel of God, who had been going before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them. 20 So it came between the camp of Egypt and the camp of Israel; and there was the cloud [f]along with the darkness, yet it gave light at night. Thus the one did not come near the other all night.

21 (L)Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and Yahweh [g]swept the sea back by a strong east wind all night and made the sea into (M)dry ground, so (N)the waters were split. 22 (O)So the sons of Israel [h]went through the midst of the sea on the dry land, and (P)the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. 23 Then (Q)the Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots and his horsemen went in after them into the midst of the sea. 24 Then at the morning watch, (R)Yahweh looked down on the camp of the Egyptians [i]through the pillar of fire and cloud and brought the camp of the Egyptians into confusion. 25 And He [j]caused their chariot wheels to swerve, and He made them drive with difficulty; so the Egyptians said, “Let [k]us flee from Israel, (S)for Yahweh is fighting for them against the Egyptians.”

26 Then Yahweh said to Moses, “(T)Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the waters may come back over the Egyptians, over their chariots and their horsemen.” 27 So Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and (U)the sea returned to its normal state at daybreak while the Egyptians were fleeing [l]right into it; then Yahweh [m](V)overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. 28 And the waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen, [n]even Pharaoh’s entire army that had gone into the sea after them; (W)not even one of them remained. 29 But the sons of Israel walked on (X)dry land through the midst of the sea, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

30 (Y)Thus Yahweh saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel (Z)saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. 31 Then Israel saw the great hand which Yahweh had [o]used against the Egyptians; and the people [p]feared Yahweh, and (AA)they believed in Yahweh and in His servant Moses.

Exodus 15:20-21

20 (A)And Miriam the prophetess, Aaron’s sister, took the (B)tambourine in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with [a](C)dancing. 21 And Miriam answered them,

(D)Sing to Yahweh, for He [b]is highly exalted;
The horse and his rider He has hurled into the sea.”

Colossians 3:5-11

(A)Therefore, [a]consider (B)the members of your earthly body as dead to (C)sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry. On account of these things, (D)the wrath of God is coming [b]upon the sons of disobedience, and (E)in them you also once walked, when you were living [c]in them. But now you also, (F)lay them all aside: (G)wrath, anger, malice, slander, and (H)abusive speech from your mouth. [d](I)Do not lie to one another, since you (J)put off the old man with its evil practices, 10 and have (K)put on the new man who is being [e](L)renewed to a full knowledge (M)according to the image of the One who (N)created him— 11 a renewal in which (O)there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, (P)circumcised and uncircumcised, [f](Q)barbarian, Scythian, (R)slave, and freeman, but (S)Christ is all and in all.
