^(A)Good insight belongs to all those who do ^[a]His commandments;

His ^(B)praise stands forever.

112 ^[b]Praise Yah!
How ^(C)blessed is the man who ^[c]fears Yahweh,

Who greatly ^(D)delights in His commandments.

² His ^(E)seed will be mighty ^[d]on earth;

The generation of the ^(F)upright will be blessed.

^3 (G)Wealth and riches are in his house,

And his righteousness stands forever.

⁴ Light arises in the darkness ^(H)for the upright;

He is ^(I)gracious and compassionate and righteous.

⁵ It is well with the man who ^(J)is gracious and lends;

Who sustains his ^[e]works with justice.

⁶ For he will ^(K)never be shaken;

The ^(L)righteous will be ^[f]remembered forever.

⁷ He will not fear an ^(M)evil report;

His ^(N)heart is set, ^(O)trusting in Yahweh.

⁸ His ^(P)heart is upheld, he ^(Q)will not fear,

Until he ^(R)looks in triumph on his adversaries.

^9 [g]He ^(S)has given freely to the needy,

His righteousness stands forever;

His ^(T)horn will be raised in glory.

¹⁰ The ^(U)wicked will see it and be ^[h]vexed,

21 The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of Yahweh;
He ^(A)turns it wherever He pleases.
^2 (B)Every man’s way is right in his own eyes,
But Yahweh ^(C)weighs the hearts.
³ To do ^(D)righteousness and justice
Is chosen by Yahweh over sacrifice.
⁴ Haughty eyes and a proud heart—
The ^(E)fallow ground of the wicked—are sin.

²⁴ “Arrogant,” “Haughty,” “^(A)Scoffer,” are his names,
Who acts with ^(B)arrogant fury.
²⁵ The ^(C)desire of the sluggard puts him to death,
For his hands refuse to work;
²⁶ All day long he ^[a]is insatiably craving,
While the righteous ^(D)gives and does not hold back.
