Psalm 63:1-8

You Are My God

Psalm 63

A psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.
O God, You are my God,
earnestly I seek You.
My soul thirsts for You.
My flesh longs for You
in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.
So, I looked for You in the Sanctuary,
to see Your power and Your glory.
Since Your lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips will praise You.
So I will bless You as long as I live.
In Your name I lift up my hands.[a]
My soul is satisfied as with fat and oil,
so my mouth praises You with joyful lips.

When I remember You on my bed,
I meditate on You through the night watches.
For You have been my help,
and in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.

Daniel 12:1-4

Resurrection and Judgment

12 “At that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise.[a] There will be a time of distress such as has never occurred since the beginning of the nation until then.[b] But at that time your people—everyone who is found written in the book—will be delivered. [c] Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake—some to everlasting life, and others to shame and everlasting contempt. [d] Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavenly expanse. And those who turn many to righteousness will be like the stars forever and ever. But you, Daniel, close up the words and seal the book until the time of the end.[e] Many will run back and forth and knowledge will increase.’

Revelation 3:1-6

Sardis: Coming Like a Thief

To the angel of Messiah’s community in Sardis write: “Thus says the One having the seven spirits of God and the seven stars: I know your deeds—you have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead. Wake up, and strengthen what remains that was about to die. For I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of My God. So remember what you have received and heard—keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come upon you.

“But still, you have a few people in Sardis who have not stained their clothes. They will walk with Me in white, because they are worthy. The one who overcomes thus will be dressed in white clothes; I will never blot his name out of the Book of Life,[a] and will confess his name before My Father and His angels. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Ruach is saying to Messiah’s communities.
