Psalm 80:1-7

O God, Restore Us

For the choir director. [a]El Shoshannim. [b]Eduth. Of Asaph. A Psalm.

80 O (A)Shepherd of Israel, give ear,
You who guide (B)Joseph like a flock;
You who (C)are enthroned above the cherubim, shine forth!
Before (D)Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, (E)stir up Your might
And come to save us!
O God, (F)restore us
And (G)cause Your face to shine upon us, that we would be saved.

O (H)Yahweh God of hosts,
(I)How long will You [c]smolder against the prayer of Your people?
You have fed them with the (J)bread of tears,
And You have made them to drink tears in [d]large measure.
You set us as [e]an object of strife (K)to our neighbors,
And our enemies mock us among themselves.
O God of hosts, restore us
And cause Your face to shine upon us, that we might be saved.

Jeremiah 31:31-34

31 (A)Behold, days are coming,” declares Yahweh, “when I will cut a (B)new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, 32 not like the (C)covenant which I cut with their fathers in the day I (D)took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My (E)covenant which they broke, but I was a husband to them,” declares Yahweh. 33 “But (F)this is the covenant which I will cut with the house of Israel after those days,” declares Yahweh: “(G)I will put My law within them, and on their heart I will write it; and (H)I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 And they will (I)not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know Yahweh,’ for they will all (J)know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares Yahweh, “for I will (K)forgive their iniquity, and their (L)sin I will remember no more.”

Hebrews 10:10-18

10 By [a]this will we have been (A)sanctified through (B)the offering of (C)the body of Jesus Christ (D)once for all.

11 And every priest stands daily ministering and (E)offering time after time the same sacrifices, which (F)can never take away sins; 12 but He, having offered one sacrifice (G)for [b]sins (H)for all time, (I)sat down at the right hand of God, 13 waiting from that time (J)until His enemies are put as a footstool for His feet. 14 For by one offering He has (K)perfected (L)for all time those who are being sanctified. 15 And (M)the Holy Spirit also testifies to us, for after saying,

16 (N)This is the covenant that I will make with them
After those days, says the [c]Lord:
I will put My laws upon their heart,
And on their mind I will write them,”

He then says,

17 (O)And their sins and their lawless deeds
I will remember no more.”

18 Now where there is forgiveness of these things, there is no longer any offering for sin.
