Psalm 106:1-6

Remember Me, O Yahweh

106 [a]Praise Yah!
Oh (A)give thanks to Yahweh, for He (B)is good;
For (C)His lovingkindness endures forever.
Who can speak of the (D)mighty deeds of Yahweh,
Or can make all His praise to be heard?
How blessed are those who keep [b]justice,
[c]And he who (E)does righteousness at all times!

Remember me, O Yahweh, in Your (F)favor [d]toward Your people;
Visit me with Your salvation,
That I may see the (G)goodness of Your chosen ones,
That I may (H)rejoice in the gladness of Your nation,
That I may (I)boast with Your [e]inheritance.

(J)We have sinned (K)with our fathers,
We have committed iniquity, we have acted wickedly.

Psalm 106:13-23

13 They quickly (A)forgot His works;
They (B)did not wait for His counsel,
14 But (C)craved intensely in the wilderness,
And (D)put God to the test in the wasteland.
15 So He (E)gave them their request,
But (F)sent a [a]wasting disease against their lives.

16 Then they became (G)envious of Moses in the camp,
And of Aaron, the holy one of Yahweh,
17 The (H)earth opened and swallowed up Dathan,
And covered up the [b]company of Abiram.
18 And a (I)fire burned up in their company;
The flame consumed the wicked.

19 They (J)made a calf in Horeb
And worshiped a molten image.
20 Thus they (K)exchanged their glory
For the image of an ox that eats grass.
21 They (L)forgot God their Savior,
Who had done (M)great things in Egypt,
22 (N)Wondrous deeds in the land of Ham
And awesome things by the [c]Red Sea.
23 Therefore (O)He said that He would destroy them,
Had not (P)Moses His chosen one stood in the breach before Him,
To turn away His wrath from [d]eradicating them.

Psalm 106:47-48

47 (A)Save us, O Yahweh our God,
And (B)gather us from among the nations,
To give thanks to Your holy name
And (C)revel in Your praise.
48 (D)Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel,
From everlasting to everlasting.
And let all the people say, “Amen.”
[a]Praise Yah!

Deuteronomy 4:9-14

“Only (A)keep yourself and keep your soul very carefully, lest you forget the things which your eyes have seen and lest they depart from your heart (B)all the days of your life. But (C)make them known to your sons and to your grandsons. 10 Remember the day you stood before Yahweh your God at Horeb, when Yahweh said to me, ‘Assemble the people to Me, that I may cause them to hear My words (D)so they may learn to [a]fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and that they may (E)teach their children.’ 11 And you came near and stood at the foot of the mountain, (F)and the mountain burned with fire to the very heart of the heavens: darkness, cloud, and dense gloom. 12 Then Yahweh spoke to you from the midst of the fire; you heard the sound of words, but you saw no form—only a voice. 13 So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to do, that is, (G)the Ten [b]Commandments; and (H)He wrote them on two tablets of stone. 14 And Yahweh commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that you might do them in the land where you are going over to possess it.

1 Timothy 4:6-16

A Good Minister’s Discipline

In pointing out these things to (A)the brothers, you will be a good (B)servant of Christ Jesus, being nourished on the words of the faith and of the [a](C)sound doctrine which you (D)have been following. But refuse (E)godless (F)myths fit only for old women. On the other hand, train yourself for the purpose of (G)godliness, for (H)bodily training is only of little profit, but (I)godliness is profitable for all things, since it (J)holds promise for the (K)present life and also for the life to come. (L)It is a trustworthy saying and deserving full acceptance. 10 For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed (M)our hope on (N)the living God, who is (O)the Savior of all men, especially of believers.

11 (P)Command and teach these things. 12 (Q)Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but show yourself as (R)a model to those who believe in word, conduct, (S)love, faith, and purity. 13 (T)Until I come, give attention to the public (U)reading of Scripture, to exhortation and teaching. 14 Do not neglect the gift within you, which was given to you through (V)prophetic utterance with (W)the laying on of hands by the (X)council of elders. 15 Take pains with these things; be absorbed in them, so that your progress will be evident to all. 16 (Y)Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will (Z)save both yourself and those who hear you.
