Version
Psalm 78:23-29

23 Yet He commanded the skies above
And (A)opened the doors of heaven;
24 He (B)rained down manna upon them to eat
And gave them (C)grain from heaven.
25 Man ate the bread of [a]angels;
He sent them provision (D)to satisfy.
26 He (E)led forth the east wind in the heavens
And by His strength He guided the south wind.
27 Then He rained [b]meat upon them like the dust,
Even (F)winged fowl like the sand of the seas,
28 He caused them to fall in the midst of His camp,
All around His dwelling places.
29 So they (G)ate and were very satisfied,
And their desire He brought to them.

Exodus 12:33-42

Israel Goes Out from Egypt

33 (A)And the Egyptians strongly pressed the people to send them out of the land in haste, for they said, “We will all be dead.” 34 So the people took up (B)their dough before it was leavened, with their kneading bowls bound up in the clothes on their shoulders.

35 (C)Now the sons of Israel had done according to the word of Moses—they had asked from the Egyptians for articles of silver and articles of gold, and clothing; 36 and Yahweh had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. Thus they (D)plundered the Egyptians.

37 And the (E)sons of Israel journeyed from (F)Rameses to Succoth, about (G)six hundred thousand men on foot, aside from the little ones. 38 A [a](H)foreign multitude also went up with them, [b]along with flocks and herds, a (I)very [c]large number of livestock. 39 And they baked the dough which they had brought out of Egypt into cakes of unleavened bread. For it had not become leavened, since they were (J)driven out of Egypt and could not delay, nor had they [d]prepared any provisions for themselves.

40 Now the time [e]that the sons of Israel lived in Egypt was (K)430 years. 41 And it happened at the end of 430 years, [f]to (L)the very day, that (M)all the hosts of Yahweh went out from the land of Egypt. 42 (N)It is a night to be kept for Yahweh for having brought them out from the land of Egypt; this night is for Yahweh, to be kept [g]by all the sons of Israel throughout their generations.

1 Corinthians 11:17-22

The Lord’s Supper

17 But in giving this instruction, (A)I do not praise you, because you come together not for the better but for the worse. 18 For, in the first place, when you come together [a]as a church, I hear that [b](B)divisions exist among you, and in part I believe it. 19 For there (C)must also be factions among you, (D)so that those who are approved may become [c]evident among you. 20 Therefore when you meet together in the same place, it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper, 21 for in your eating each one takes his own supper first, and one is hungry and (E)another is drunk. 22 For do you not have houses in which to eat and drink? Or do you despise the (F)church of God and (G)shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall (H)I praise you? In this I will not praise you.
