Version
Psalm 69:7-10

Indeed, for your sake I have endured insults.
    Humiliation has covered my face.
I have become a stranger to my own brothers,
a foreigner to my mother’s sons.
Indeed, devotion for your house has consumed me,
and the insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.
10 I cried and fasted, but I was insulted for it.

Psalm 69:11-15

11 I dressed myself in sackcloth, but I became the object of ridicule.
12 Those who sit at the gate gossip about me,
and drunkards make up songs about me.

13 May my prayer come to you at an acceptable time, O Yahweh.
O Elohim, out of the greatness of your mercy,
answer me with the truth of your salvation.
14 Rescue me from the mud.
Do not let me sink into it.
I want to be rescued from those who hate me
    and from the deep water.
15 Do not let floodwaters sweep me away.
Do not let the ocean swallow me up,
or the pit close its mouth over me.

Psalm 69:16-18

16 Answer me, O Yahweh, because your mercy is good.
Out of your unlimited compassion, turn to me.
17 I am in trouble, so do not hide your face from me.
    Answer me quickly!
18 Come close, and defend my soul.
Set me free because of my enemies.

Jeremiah 20:1-6

Pashhur Imprisons Jeremiah

20 Now the priest, Immer’s son Pashhur, the chief officer of Yahweh’s temple, heard Jeremiah prophesying these things. Pashhur struck the prophet Jeremiah and put him in prison at Upper Benjamin Gate that was in Yahweh’s temple.

The next day when Pashhur took Jeremiah out of prison, Jeremiah said to him, “Yahweh doesn’t call you Pashhur, but he calls you Terror Everywhere. This is what Yahweh says: I’m going to make you terrify yourself and all your friends. Their enemies’ swords will kill them, and you will see it with your own eyes. I will hand all of Judah over to the king of Babylon. He will take the people away as captives to Babylon or kill them with swords. I will hand all the riches of this city over to their enemies. This will include all its produce, all its valuables, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah. Their enemies will loot them, take them away, and bring them to Babylon. And you, Pashhur, and all those who live in your house will go into captivity. You will go to Babylon, and you will die there. You will be buried there together with all your friends to whom you prophesied these lies.”

Luke 11:53-12:3

53 When Yeshua left, the experts in Moses’ Teachings and the Pharisees held a terrible grudge against him. They questioned him about many things 54 and watched him closely to trap him in something he might say.

Jesus Speaks to His Disciples

12 Meanwhile, thousands of people had gathered. They were so crowded that they stepped on each other. Yeshua spoke to his disciples and said, “Watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees. I’m talking about their hypocrisy. Nothing has been covered that will not be exposed. Whatever is secret will be made known. Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight. Whatever you have whispered in private rooms will be shouted from the housetops.
