帖撒罗尼迦前书 4:13-18

基督再来的盼望

13 弟兄们，关于睡了的人，我们不愿意你们不明白，免得你们忧伤，就像其他那些没有盼望的人一样。 14 我们既然相信耶稣死而复活了，照样也相信，那些藉着耶稣已经睡了的人，神将要把他们与耶稣一同带来[a]。 15 的确，我们现在照着主的话告诉你们这一点：我们这些活着存留到主来临的人，绝不会在那些已经睡了的人之先， 16 因为在发令的呼喊声中，在天使长的声音和神的号角声中，主要亲自从天降临，而且那些在基督里死去的人要先复活， 17 然后我们这些还活着存留的人，要与他们一同被提到云里，在空中与主相会。这样，我们就要永远与主在一起了。 18 所以，你们当用这些话彼此鼓励。
