22 Then Solomon stood before the Altar of the LORD, in the sight of all the Congregation of Israel, and stretched out his hands toward Heaven,
23 and said, “O LORD God of Israel! There is no God like You in Heaven above or on the Earth beneath, You Who keep Covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their heart;
41 “Moreover, regarding the stranger who is not of Your people Israel, who shall come out of a far country for Your Name’s sake
42 “(when they shall hear of Your great Name and of Your mighty Hand and of Your outstretched Arm), and shall come and pray in this House,
43 “hear in Heaven (Your dwelling place) and do according to all that the stranger calls to You for, so that all the people of the Earth may know Your Name and fear You as do Your people Israel, and that they may know that Your Name is called upon in this House which I have built!
96 Sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD all the Earth!
2 Sing to the LORD! Praise His Name! Declare His salvation from day to day.
3 Declare His Glory among all nations, His wonders among all people.
4 For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised. He is to be feared above all gods.
5 For all the gods of the people are idols. But the LORD made the heavens.
6 Strength and glory are before Him. Power and beauty are in His Sanctuary.
7 Give to the LORD, you families of the people! Give to the LORD glory and power!
8 Give to the LORD the glory of His Name. Bring an offering and enter into His courts.
9 Worship the LORD in the glorious Sanctuary. Tremble before Him, all the Earth.
1 Paul, an Apostle (neither of man, nor by man; but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, Who has raised Him from the dead),
2 and all the brothers who are with me, to the Churches of Galatia:
3 Grace be with you, and peace, from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
4 Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God, even our Father,
5 to Whom be glory, forever and ever, Amen.
6 I marvel that you are so soon lured away to another gospel from Him who had called you in the grace of Christ,
7 which is not another gospel. Yet, there are some who are agitating you, and intend to pervert the Gospel of Christ.
8 But even if we, or an angel from Heaven, preach to you any other gospel than that which we have preached, let him be accursed.
9 As we have said before, so say I now again: If anyone preaches to you any other gospel than that which you have received, let him be accursed.
10 For as of now, do I preach man’s doctrine, or God’s? Or, do I go about to please man? For if I were still pleasing man, I would not be the servant of Christ.
11 Now let it be known, brothers, that the Gospel which was preached by me, is not according to man.
12 Neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
7 When He had ended all His sayings in the hearing of the people, He entered into Capernaum.
2 And a certain centurion’s servant (who was dear to him) was sick and ready to die.
3 And when he heard of Jesus, he sent the elders of the Jews to Him, asking Him to come and heal his servant.
4 So they came to Jesus and pleaded with Him earnestly, saying “He is worthy. You should do this for him.
5 “For he loves our Nation, and he has built us a synagogue.”
6 Then Jesus went with them. But when He was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself. For I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof.
7 “Therefore I did not think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant shall be whole.
8 “For I am also a man set under authority and have soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go.’ And he goes. And to another, ‘Come.’ And he comes. And to my servant, ‘Do this.’ And he does it.”
9 When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him. And He turned and said to the people who followed him, “I say to you, I have not found so great faith! No. Not in Israel.”
10 And when those who were sent returned to the house, they found the servant who had been sick, whole.
