9 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and tell him, ‘Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews: ‘Let My people go, so that they may serve Me.
2 ‘But if you refuse to let them go, and will continue to hold them,
3 ‘behold, the hand of the LORD is upon your flock which is in the field. Upon the horses, upon the donkeys, upon the camels, upon the cattle, and upon the sheep there shall be a mighty plague.’
4 “And the LORD shall distinguish between the beasts of Israel and the beasts of Egypt, so that nothing at all shall die which pertains to the children of Israel.”
5 And the LORD appointed a time, saying, “Tomorrow, the LORD shall finish this thing in this land.”
6 So the next day, the LORD did this thing; and all the cattle of Egypt died. But of the cattle of the children of Israel, not one died.
7 Then Pharaoh sent, and behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was obstinate; and he did not let the people go.
8 And the LORD said to Moses and to Aaron, “Take your handful of ashes from the furnace; and Moses shall sprinkle them toward the sky, in the sight of Pharaoh,
9 “And they shall be turned to dust in all the land of Egypt. And it shall be as a scab breaking out into blisters upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.”
10 Then they took ashes from the furnace and stood before Pharaoh. And Moses sprinkled them toward the sky. And boils broke out into sores upon man, and upon beast.
11 And the sorcerers could not stand before Moses, because of the boils: for the boils were upon the enchanters and upon all the Egyptians.
12 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh; and he did not listen to them (as the LORD had said to Moses).
13 Also, the LORD said to Moses, “Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and tell him, ‘Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews: “Let My people go, so that they may serve Me.
14 “For at this time, I will send My plagues upon your heart, and upon your servants, and upon your people, so that you may know that there is none like Me in all the Earth.
15 “For now I will stretch out My hand, so that I may strike you and your people with the pestilence. And you shall perish from the Earth.
16 “And indeed, for this reason I have appointed you: to show My power in you, and to declare My Name throughout all the world.
17 “Yet, you exalt yourself against My people, and do not let them go.
18 “Behold, tomorrow at this time, I will rain a mighty great hail, such as was not in Egypt since the foundation thereof was laid until this time.
19 “Therefore, send now. Gather the cattle and all that you have in the field. For upon all the men and the beasts which are found in the field (and not brought home) the hail shall fall upon them. And they shall die.”’”
20 Those who feared the Word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses.
21 But those who did not regard the Word of the LORD left his servants, and his cattle, in the field.
22 And the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch forth your hand toward Heaven, so that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man and upon beast and upon all the herbs of the field in the land of Egypt.”
23 Then Moses stretched out his rod toward Heaven. And the LORD sent thunder and hail and lightning upon the ground. And the LORD caused hail to rain upon the land of Egypt.
24 So there was hail—and fire mingled with the hail—more grievous than any which had been throughout all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
25 And the hail struck all that was in the field, throughout all the land of Egypt, both man and beast. Also, the hail struck all the trees of the field and broke all the trees of the field to pieces.
26 Only in the land of Goshen (where the children of Israel were) was there no hail.
27 Then Pharaoh sent and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, “I have now sinned. The LORD is righteous; but I and my people are wicked.
28 “Pray to the LORD (for it is enough) that there are no more mighty thunders and hail; and I will let you go. And you shall wait no longer.”
29 Then Moses said to him, “As soon as I am out of the city, I will spread my hands to the LORD, and the thunder shall cease. Nor shall there be any more hail, so that you may know that the Earth is the LORD’s.
30 “As for you and your servants, I know that you do not yet fear before the face of the LORD God.”
31 (And the flax and the barley were stricken. For the barley was eared and the flax was bolled.
32 But, the wheat and the rye were not stricken, for they were hidden in the ground).
33 Then, Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh and spread his hands to the LORD. And the thunder and the hail ceased. Nor did it rain upon the Earth.
34 And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunder had ceased, he sinned again and hardened his heart (he and his servants).
35 So, the heart of Pharaoh was hardened. Nor would he let the children of Israel go (as the LORD had said through Moses).
10 Again, the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh. For I have hardened his heart (and the hearts of his servants) so that I might work these, My miracles, in the midst of his realm,
2 and so that you may declare in the ears of your son, and of your son’s son, what things I have done in Egypt and My miracles which I have done among them. So that you may know that I am the LORD.”
3 Then Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh. And they said to him, “Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews: ‘How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, so that they may serve Me.
4 ‘But if you refuse to let My people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your territory.
5 ‘And they shall cover the face of the Earth, so that a man cannot see the Earth. And they shall eat the residue which remains to you and has escaped from the hail. And they shall eat all your trees that bud in the field.
6 ‘And they shall fill your houses, and all your servants’ houses, and the houses of all the Egyptians, as neither your fathers nor your fathers’ fathers have seen since the time they were upon the Earth until this day.’” So, he returned and went out from Pharaoh.
7 Then, Pharaoh’s servants said to him, “How long shall he be a snare to us? Let the men go, so that they may serve the LORD their God. Do you still not know that Egypt is destroyed?”
8 So, Moses and Aaron were again brought to Pharaoh. And he said to them, “Go. Serve the LORD your God. But who are those who shall go?”
9 And Moses answered, “We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters. With our sheep and with our cattle will we go. For we must celebrate a feast to the LORD.”
10 And he said to them, “Let the LORD so be with you, as I will let you and your children go. But behold, evil is ahead of you.
11 “Not so. Now go, you men, and serve the LORD. For that was your desire.” Then they were thrust out from Pharaoh’s presence.
12 Afterward, the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand upon the land of Egypt for the locusts, so that they may come upon the land of Egypt and eat all the herbs of the land.” (all that the hail had left)
13 Then Moses stretched forth his rod upon the land of Egypt. And the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day and all that night. And in the morning, the east wind brought the locusts.
14 So the locusts went up upon all the land of Egypt and remained in all quarters of Egypt. There have never been such grievous locusts as these, nor shall there be after them.
15 For they covered all the face of the Earth, so that the land was dark. And they ate all the herbs of the land, and all the fruits of the trees, which the hail had left, so that there was no green thing left upon the trees, nor among the herbs of the field, throughout all the land of Egypt.
16 Therefore, Pharaoh quickly called for Moses and Aaron, and said, “I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you.
17 “And now, forgive my sin only this once, and pray to the LORD your God, only so that He may take away from me this death.”
18 Then Moses went out from Pharaoh and prayed to the LORD.
19 And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, and took away the locusts, and violently cast them into the Red Sea. There remained not one locust in all the land of Egypt.
20 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go.
21 Again the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward Heaven, so that darkness may be upon the land of Egypt, even darkness that may be felt.”
22 Then, Moses stretched forth his hand toward Heaven; and there was a black darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days.
23 No one saw another, nor rose up from the place where he was, for three days. But all the children of Israel had light where they dwelt.
24 Then Pharaoh called for Moses, and said, “Go serve the LORD. Only your sheep and your cattle shall remain; and your children shall go with you.”
25 And Moses said, “You must also give us sacrifices and burnt offerings, so that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.
26 “Therefore, our cattle shall go with us also. There shall not be a hoof left. For we must take from them to serve the LORD our God. Nor do we know how we shall serve the LORD until we get there.”
27 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart; and he would not let them go.
28 And Pharaoh said to him, “Get away from me! Be careful that you see my face no more. For whenever you come into my sight, you shall die!”
29 Then Moses said, “You have said well. I will never see your face again.”
11 Now the LORD had said to Moses, “I will yet bring one more plague upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt. After that, he will let you go from here. When he lets you go, he shall at once chase you from here.
2 “Speak now to the people, so that every man requires from his neighbor, and every woman from her neighbor, jewels of silver and jewels of gold.”
3 And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Also, Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants and in the sight of the people.
4 And Moses said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘About midnight, I will go out into the midst of Egypt.
5 ‘And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, to the firstborn of the maid servant who is at the mill, and all the firstborn of beasts.
6 ‘Then there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as has never been before, nor shall be.
7 ‘But, against none of the children of Israel shall a dog move his tongue, against man or beast, so that you may know that the LORD puts a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
8 ‘And all your servants shall come down to Me, and fall before Me, saying, “Get out, and all the people who are at your feet!” And after this I will depart.’” So, he went out from Pharaoh very angry.
9 And the LORD said to Moses, “Pharaoh shall not hear you, so that My wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.”
10 So Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh. But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart; and he did not allow the children of Israel to go out of his land.
21 And Jesus left there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
22 And behold, a Gentile woman came out of the same region, and cried, saying to Him, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, the Son of David! My daughter is badly possessed by a demon!”
23 But He did not answer her a word. Then His disciples came to Him and urged Him, saying, “Send her away. For she cries after us.”
24 But He answered, and said, “I am not sent, but to the lost sheep of the House of Israel.”
25 Still, she came and worshipped Him, saying, “Lord help me.”
26 And He answered, and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and cast it to the dogs.”
27 But she said, “Truth, Lord. Yet, even the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their master’s table.”
28 Then Jesus answered, and said to her, “O, woman. Great is your faith. Let it be as you desire.” And her daughter was made whole at that hour.
29 So Jesus went away from there, and came near to the Sea of Galilee, and went up in a mountain and sat down there.
30 And great multitudes came to Him - having with them lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others - and cast them down at Jesus’ feet. And He healed them.
31 So much so that the multitude wondered to see the dumb speak, the maimed whole, the lame walk, and the blind see. And they glorified the God of Israel.
32 Then Jesus called His disciples to Him, and said, “I have compassion on this multitude because they have remained with Me three days now and have had nothing to eat. And I will not let them depart fasting, lest they faint on the way.”
33 And His disciples said to Him, “From where would we get so much bread in the wilderness that would suffice so great a multitude?”
34 And Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven, and a few little fish.”
35 Then He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.
36 And took the seven loaves, and the fish, and gave thanks; and broke them, and gave them to His disciples. And the disciples gave them to the multitude.
37 And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up seven baskets full of the fragments that remained.
38 And those who had eaten (besides women and little children) were four thousand men.
39 Then Jesus sent away the multitude. And He took a ship and came into the region of Magdala.
