4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even we being dead in trespasses, made-us-alive-with Christ— by grace you are saved— 6 and raised-us-with Him and seated-us-with Him in the heavenly-places in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that He might demonstrate[a] in the coming ages[b] the surpassing riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
For We Are Saved By Grace For The Good Works Which God Prepared For Us
8 For by grace you are saved through faith. And this[c] is not from you. It is the gift of God— 9 not of works, in order that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared-beforehand in order that we might walk in them.
