彼得後書 1:5-11
5 是的，也正是為此，你們應當盡量地殷勤，在信仰上加美德；在美德上加知識； 6 在知識上加自制；在自制上加忍耐；在忍耐上加敬神； 7 在敬神上加弟兄之情；在弟兄之情上加愛； 8 因為你們如果有了這些，並且不斷增多這些，它們就會使你們在真正認識我們主耶穌基督的事上，不會成為懶惰的[a]或不結果子的人； 9 就是說，沒有具備這些的就是瞎眼的，他只看得見眼前的，忘記自己過去的罪孽已經得了潔淨。 10 所以弟兄們，你們當更加努力地確定你們所蒙的召喚和揀選。要知道，如果你們如此行，就絕不會跌倒； 11 而這樣，你們就豐豐富富地得到供應，進入我們的主、救主耶穌基督永恆的國度。
