Psalm 97

Remember His Holy Name

97 (A)Yahweh [a]reigns, let the (B)earth rejoice;
Let the many (C)coastlands be glad.
(D)Clouds and thick darkness are all around Him;
(E)Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.
(F)Fire goes before Him
And (G)burns up His adversaries all around.
His (H)lightnings light up the world;
The earth sees and (I)trembles.
The mountains (J)melt like wax at the presence of Yahweh,
At the presence of the (K)Lord of all the earth.
The (L)heavens declare His righteousness,
And (M)all the peoples see His glory.

Let all those be ashamed who serve (N)graven images,
Who boast of (O)idols;
[b](P)Worship Him, all you [c]gods!
Zion [d]heard this and (Q)was glad,
And the daughters of Judah have rejoiced
Because of Your judgments, O Yahweh.
For You are Yahweh (R)Most High over all the earth;
You are exalted far (S)above all [e]gods.

10 (T)Hate evil, you who love Yahweh,
Who (U)keeps the souls of His holy ones;
He (V)delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
11 (W)Light is sown for the righteous
And (X)gladness for the upright in heart.
12 Be (Y)glad in Yahweh, you righteous ones,
And (Z)give thanks for the remembrance of [f]His holy name.

Psalm 99

Holy Is Yahweh Our God

99 (A)Yahweh reigns, let the peoples tremble;
He (B)sits enthroned above the cherubim, let the earth quake!
Yahweh is (C)great in Zion,
And He is (D)exalted above all the peoples.
Let them praise Your (E)great and awesome name;
(F)Holy is [a]He.
[b]The strength of the King (G)loves [c]justice;
You have established [d](H)equity;
You have (I)done [e]justice and righteousness in Jacob.
(J)Exalt Yahweh our God
And (K)worship at the footstool of His feet;
(L)Holy is He.

(M)Moses and Aaron were among His (N)priests,
And (O)Samuel was among those who (P)called on His name;
They (Q)would call upon Yahweh and He would answer them.
He (R)would speak to them in the pillar of cloud;
They (S)kept His testimonies
And the statute that He gave them.
O Yahweh our God, You (T)answered them;
You were a (U)forgiving God to them,
And yet an (V)avenger of their evil deeds.
Exalt Yahweh our God
And worship at His holy mountain,
For holy is Yahweh our God.

Psalm 115

To Yahweh’s Name Give Glory

115 (A)Not to us, O Yahweh, not to us,
But (B)to Your name give glory
Because of Your lovingkindness, because of Your [a]truth.
(C)Why should the nations say,
(D)Where, now, is their God?”
But our (E)God is in the heavens;
He (F)does whatever He pleases.
Their (G)idols are silver and gold,
The (H)work of man’s hands.
They have mouths, but they (I)do not speak;
They have eyes, but they do not see;
They have ears, but they do not hear;
They have noses, but they do not smell;
As for their hands, they do not feel;
As for their feet, they do not walk;
They do not make a sound with their throat.
(J)Those who make them [b]will become like them,
Everyone who trusts in them.

O (K)Israel, (L)trust in Yahweh;
He is their (M)help and their shield.
10 O house of (N)Aaron, trust in Yahweh;
He is their help and their shield.
11 You who [c](O)fear Yahweh, trust in Yahweh;
He is their help and their shield.
12 Yahweh (P)remembered us; He will bless!
He will bless the house of Israel.
He will bless the house of Aaron.
13 He will (Q)bless those who [d]fear Yahweh,
(R)The small together with the great.
14 May Yahweh (S)give you increase,
You and your children.
15 May you be blessed of Yahweh,
(T)Who made heaven and earth.

16 The heavens are (U)the heavens of Yahweh,
But (V)the earth He has given to the sons of men.
17 It is not the (W)dead that praise Yah,
And it is none of those who go down to (X)silence;
18 But as for us, we will (Y)bless Yah
From now until forever.
[e]Praise Yah!

Micah 7:7-15

Yahweh Is a Light for Me

But as for me, I will (A)watch expectantly for Yahweh;
I will (B)wait for the God of my salvation.
My (C)God will hear me.
(D)Do not be glad over me, O (E)my enemy.
Though I fall I will (F)rise;
Though I inhabit the darkness, Yahweh is a (G)light for me.

I will bear the rage of Yahweh
Because I have sinned against Him,
Until He (H)pleads my case and does justice for me.
He will bring me out to the (I)light,
And I will see His [a](J)righteousness.
10 Then my enemy will see,
And shame will cover her who (K)said to me,
“Where is Yahweh your God?”
My eyes will look on her;
[b]At that time she will [c]be (L)trampled down
Like mire of the streets.
11 It will be a day for (M)building your walls.
On that day your boundary will be extended.
12 It will be a day when [d]they will (N)come to you
From Assyria and the cities of Egypt,
From Egypt even to the [e]River,
Even from sea to sea and mountain to mountain.
13 And the earth will become (O)desolate because of her inhabitants,
On account of the (P)fruit of their deeds.

14 (Q)Shepherd Your people with Your (R)scepter,
The flock of Your inheritance
Which dwells by itself in the forest,
In the midst of [f]a fruitful orchard.
Let them feed in (S)Bashan and Gilead
(T)As in the ancient days.
15 “As in the days when you came out from the land of Egypt,
I will show [g](U)you wondrous deeds.”

Acts 3:1-10

The Lame Beggar Healed

Now (A)Peter and John were going up to the temple at the [a]ninth hour, (B)the hour of prayer. And (C)a man who had been lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they (D)used to set down daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, (E)in order to beg [b]alms of those who were entering the temple. When he saw (F)Peter and John about to go into the temple, he began asking to receive alms. But when Peter, along with John, (G)fixed his gaze on him, he said, “Look at us!” And he began to give them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, “I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: (H)In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!” And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened. (I)And leaping up, he stood upright and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God. And (J)all the people saw him walking and praising God; 10 and they were recognizing him, that he was the one who used to (K)sit at the Beautiful Gate of the temple to beg alms, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

John 15:1-11

I Am the True Vine

15 (A)I am the true vine, and My Father is the (B)vine-grower. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He [a]cleans it so that it may bear more fruit. (C)You are already [b]clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. (D)Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit from itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he (E)bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is (F)thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, (G)ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My (H)Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so [c](I)prove to be My disciples. Just as (J)the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. 10 (K)If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as (L)I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. 11 (M)These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your (N)joy may be complete.
