Psalm 15

Who Shall Dwell on Your Holy Hill?

A Psalm of David.

15 O Lord, (A)who shall sojourn in your (B)tent?
    Who shall dwell on your (C)holy hill?

He who (D)walks blamelessly and (E)does what is right
    and (F)speaks truth in his heart;
who (G)does not slander with his tongue
    and does no evil to his neighbor,
    nor (H)takes up a reproach against his friend;
(I)in whose eyes a vile person is despised,
    but who honors those who fear the Lord;
who (J)swears to his own hurt and does not change;
who (K)does not put out his money at interest
    and (L)does not take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things shall never be (M)moved.

Psalm 67

Make Your Face Shine upon Us

To the choirmaster: with (A)stringed instruments. A Psalm. A Song.

67 May God (B)be gracious to us and bless us
    and make his face to (C)shine upon us, Selah
that (D)your way may be known on earth,
    your (E)saving power among all nations.
(F)Let the peoples praise you, O God;
    let all the peoples praise you!

Let the nations be glad and sing for joy,
    for you (G)judge the peoples with equity
    and guide the nations upon earth. Selah
(H)Let the peoples praise you, O God;
    let all the peoples praise you!

The earth has (I)yielded its increase;
    God, our God, shall bless us.
God shall bless us;
    let (J)all the ends of the earth fear him!

Acts 4:32-37

They Had Everything in Common

32 Now the full number of those who believed were of (A)one heart and (B)soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but (C)they had everything in common. 33 And with great (D)power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and (E)great grace was upon them all. 34 (F)There was not a needy person among them, for (G)as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold 35 and (H)laid it at the apostles' feet, and (I)it was distributed to each as any had need. 36 Thus Joseph, who was also called by the apostles Barnabas (which means (J)son of encouragement), a Levite, a native of Cyprus, 37 sold a field that belonged to him and brought the money and (K)laid it at the apostles' feet.

Psalm 19

The Law of the Lord Is Perfect

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.

19 (A)The heavens declare the glory of God,
    and the sky above[a] proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech,
    and night to night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words,
    whose voice is not heard.
(B)Their (C)voice[b] goes out through all the earth,
    and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for (D)the sun,
    (E)which comes out like (F)a bridegroom leaving his chamber,
    and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy.
Its rising is from the end of the heavens,
    and its circuit to the end of them,
    and there is nothing hidden from its heat.

(G)The law of the Lord is perfect,[c]
    (H)reviving the soul;
(I)the testimony of the Lord is (J)sure,
    (K)making wise (L)the simple;
(M)the precepts of the Lord are right,
    rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is (N)pure,
    (O)enlightening the eyes;
the fear of the Lord is clean,
    enduring forever;
the rules[d] of the Lord are (P)true,
    and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than (Q)gold,
    even much (R)fine gold;
(S)sweeter also than honey
    and drippings of (T)the honeycomb.
11 Moreover, by them is your servant warned;
    (U)in keeping them there is great reward.

12 (V)Who can discern his errors?
    (W)Declare me innocent from (X)hidden faults.
13 (Y)Keep back your servant also from (Z)presumptuous sins;
    let them not have (AA)dominion over me!
Then I shall be blameless,
    and innocent of great transgression.

14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
    be acceptable in your sight,
    O Lord, my (AB)rock and my (AC)redeemer.

Psalm 146

Put Not Your Trust in Princes

146 (A)Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord, O my soul!
I will praise the Lord (B)as long as I live;
    (C)I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.

(D)Put not your trust in princes,
    (E)in a son of man, in whom there is (F)no salvation.
When (G)his breath departs, he returns to the earth;
    on that very day his plans perish.

(H)Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
    whose (I)hope is in the Lord his God,
(J)who made heaven and earth,
    the sea, and all that is in them,
(K)who keeps faith forever;
    (L)who executes justice for the oppressed,
    (M)who gives food to the hungry.

(N)The Lord sets the prisoners free;
    (O)the Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
(P)The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
    (Q)the Lord loves the righteous.
(R)The Lord watches over the sojourners;
    (S)he upholds the widow and the fatherless,
    but (T)the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.

10 (U)The Lord will reign forever,
    your God, O Zion, to all generations.
(V)Praise the Lord!

Acts 9:26-31

Saul in Jerusalem

26 And (A)when he had come to Jerusalem, he attempted to join the disciples. And they were all afraid of him, for they did not believe that he was a disciple. 27 But (B)Barnabas took him and (C)brought him to the apostles and declared to them (D)how on the road he had seen the Lord, who spoke to him, and (E)how at Damascus he had (F)preached boldly in the name of Jesus. 28 So he went (G)in and out among them at Jerusalem, preaching boldly in the name of the Lord. 29 And he spoke and disputed against (H)the Hellenists.[a] But (I)they were seeking to kill him. 30 And when (J)the brothers learned this, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him off (K)to Tarsus.

31 So (L)the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And (M)walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, (N)it multiplied.
