啟示錄 21:22-27

22 在城中我沒有看見聖所，因為主、神、全能者和羔羊就是城的聖所。 23 這城不需要太陽和月亮來照耀，因為神的榮耀照亮她，而羔羊就是她的燈。 24 列國[a]都將藉著城的光行走[b]；地上的眾君王都要把他們的榮耀[c]帶進城內。 25 她的各城門整天絕不關上，原來那裡沒有黑夜。 26 人們將要把列國的榮耀和尊貴帶進城內。 27 凡是不潔淨的，行可憎和虛假之事的人，絕不能進到城內；唯有名字[d]被記在羔羊生命冊上的才能進去。

馬太福音 12:14-21

14 那些法利賽人就出去，商議怎樣對付耶穌，好除滅他。

神的僕人

15 耶穌知道了，就離開那裡。有一大群人跟隨他，耶穌使他們都痊癒了， 16 並且告誡他們不要把他傳揚出去。 17 這是為要應驗那藉著先知以賽亞所說的話：

18 「看哪，我所揀選的僕人，
我所愛的，心所喜悅的。
我要把我的靈賜給他，
他要向外邦人宣揚審判的事。
19 他不爭競、不喧嚷，
大街[a]上也沒有人聽見他的聲音。
20 壓傷的蘆葦，他不折斷；
將熄的燈火，他不吹滅，
直到他使公義得勝，
21 外邦人將要仰望他的名。」[b]
