  321. When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next, for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
  322. And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You will be brought down to Hades. For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

  324. for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

  332. And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.
  333. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
  334. Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your synagogues and persecute from town to town,
  335. For I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
  336. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.

  341. Jesus said to him, “Truly, I tell you, this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.”
  342. And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”
  343. Jesus said to him, “You have said so. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
  344. And Peter remembered the saying of Jesus, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” And he went out and wept bitterly.

  346. Jesus Cleanses a Leper

And a leper came to him, imploring him, and kneeling said to him, “If you will, you can make me clean.”
  347. And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
  348. And they said to him, “We are able.” And Jesus said to them, “The cup that I drink you will drink, and with the baptism with which I am baptized, you will be baptized,
  349. and said to them, “Go into the village in front of you, and immediately as you enter it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it.
  350. “But be on your guard. For they will deliver you over to councils, and you will be beaten in synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them.
  351. And you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
  352. For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you want, you can do good for them. But you will not always have me.

  354. And Jesus said to them, “You will all fall away, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’
  355. And Jesus said to him, “Truly, I tell you, this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”
  356. And he said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
  357. And Jesus said, “I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.”
  358. And immediately the rooster crowed a second time. And Peter remembered how Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” And he broke down and wept.
  359. But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.”
  360. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth,
  361. And behold, you will be silent and unable to speak until the day that these things take place, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their time.”
  362. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.
  363. And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,
  364. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”
  365. And he said to them, “Doubtless you will quote to me this proverb, ‘“Physician, heal yourself.” What we have heard you did at Capernaum, do here in your hometown as well.’”

  370. How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother's eye.
  371. And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”
  372. And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
  373. Do Not Be Anxious

And he said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on.
  374. I tell you, you will never get out until you have paid the very last penny.”
  375. No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
  376. No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”
  377. “Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.
  378. Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’
  379. Behold, your house is forsaken. And I tell you, you will not see me until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
  380. and he who invited you both will come and say to you, ‘Give your place to this person,’ and then you will begin with shame to take the lowest place.
  381. But when you are invited, go and sit in the lowest place, so that when your host comes he may say to you, ‘Friend, move up higher.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all who sit at table with you.

  386. saying, “Go into the village in front of you, where on entering you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever yet sat. Untie it and bring it here.
  387. But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name's sake.
  388. You will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death.
  389. You will be hated by all for my name's sake.

  394. And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
  395. He said to them, “Come and you will see.” So they came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day, for it was about the tenth hour.
  396. Jesus answered him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.”
  397. And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”
  398. So Jesus said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.”
  399. I have come in my Father's name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.
  400. You will seek me and you will not find me. Where I am you cannot come.”
  401. What does he mean by saying, ‘You will seek me and you will not find me,’ and, ‘Where I am you cannot come’ ?”
  402. So he said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.”
  403. I told you that you would die in your sins, for unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins.”
  404. So Jesus said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me.
  405. and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

  423. Truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy.
  424. In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.
  425. Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
  426. In that day you will ask in my name, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father on your behalf;
  427. Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me.
